Ok, so finally Windows Phone 7 reach the RTM (release to manufacturing ) stages, another step closer to much awaited date of releasing it to the world to enjoy… or criticizing it. Windows Phone 7 is one massive project for Microsoft, that require notably effort from the whole team to make it as it is today. This is the testament to the effort and dollar that Microsoft has poured to this project, and it’s ain’t cheap!
“We had nearly ten thousand devices running automated tests daily, over a half million hours of active self-hosting use, over three and a half million hours of stress test passes, and eight and a half million hours of fully automated test passes. We’ve had thousands of independent software vendors and early adopters testing our software and giving us great feedback. We are ready”
This is the latest Windows Phone 7 smartphone prototype that has leaked again, continuing what we can call now as ‘Windows Phone 7 leak fiesta’ . One after another, now I’m start wondering if this is scheduled leaks? This Samsung smartphone is different model than what was previewed to tech blog last month. Coincidentally, the huge round button with Windows logo here is similar as what’s available in another Windows Phone 7 prototype, HTC Schubert . Does round button is standard feature now?
And oddly named Windows Phone 7 called HTC Schubert smartphone has surfaced early last week, first discovered by 247windowsphone site. This is yet another Windows Phone 7 smartphone leaked in a week after Asus prototype smartphone which leaked in Pakistan. The case is built on unibody aluminum shell and you’ll agree that at a glance it looks close to iPhone with steel bezel and the round button with Windows logo positioned at the bottom center of the phone. No specs or whatsoever, so at this point of time, please watch yourself the video below to fill up your curiosity.
For many, Pakistan is not the country you’ll expect to found the leaked image of next gen gadget. But this Windows Phone 7 phone made by Asus is indeed spotted there. Not much reveal from the phone, except yes it does have standard 3 buttons, front facing camera, not so huge touch screen and that’s all. The thickness of the phone cannot be identified but brushed metal case looks good. I wonder if the back casing made from that as well.
Except iPhone which is extremely secretive, probably the rest of mobile phone images and details will leaked as the launch date nearer. Latest phone to join the list is HTC’s Windows Phone 7 more. Windows platform is nothing new to HTC, who have collaborated with them since the Windows Mobile days before, but as I said, this is gonna their first smart book related to Windows Phone 7. Unfortunately, that’s the info available and, nothing else.
