blackberry curve 8520 white black1 Maxis Offer Blackberry Curve 8520 In White

One of thing you’ll notice from the launch of Maxis’s new Blackberry prepaid service is the availability of Blackberry Curve 8520 in white color, a rare but quite popular color of choice for smartphone nowadays. Unlike Blackberry Bold 9700 white color which has special event to announce it’s arrival, Blackberry Curve 8520 white color come almost unnoticed.

The shift from traditional black color smartphone to something fresh such as white color is notable with many smartphone coming out with such color that appeal to younger generation. It usually released later, months or years after the launch of black color model, and that’s how it gained the kind of exclusivity it is admired for. If you’re asked, black or white?

Maxis Introduce Daily Renewal Blackberry Prepaid Service

When Maxis introduced prepaid for Blackberry service last year, the package hardly can be called ‘prepaid’. The main reason is because, you have to pay huge amount of ‘prepayment’ of the service for couple of months in advance, as well as the lack of daily service renewal. Now that Digi has introduced the same daily concept of prepaid for Blackberry , similar like what Celcom had from the beginning, is is really call for Maxis to have the same services. Well.. Maxis finally did it last week, coming out with daily prepaid Blackberry service for RM2.50 per day with 200MB worth of data (daily or monthly, will check that later). Now that we call prepaid, isn’t? Maxis is also having promotion where you can get BlackBerry Curve 8520 at RM1,099 or RM95 per month over 12 months on easy payment plans. More of that can be found on the source link (Maxis Press Release) at the end of this post

Blackpad.com Now In RIM’s Hand, Signal The RIM’s Tablet Is Near?

blackberry blackpad Blackpad.com Now In RIMs Hand, Signal The RIMs Tablet Is Near?

I love rumors, especially about the stuff that I love. But I never take seriously the rumors about Blackberry tablet. I feel at that time that Blackberry should improve it’s OS, it’s app store so it will be on par if not better than it’s rival. But now that Blackberry 6, the revamped OS is almost ready to meet the world, suddenly it make sense that Blackberry should have tablet as well. Why not right? Reading email in bigger screen. Much better. How about tablet shown above? I know it is fake one, Blackberry 6 in iPad, wth!

So when RIM take control Blackpad.com domain, it raise the question if that’s going to be the name of RIM’s tablet. The move create wave of curiosity what’s the motive behind this move. I don’t know, except RIM. Time will again be the deciding factory. Anyhow, Blackpad sounds ‘dark’, hot about Berrypad, sounds more delicious, isn’t?

You have seen a lot of Blackberry 6 photos and videos since the last couple of months. I’m sure you’re excited as other BB users considering Blackberry 6 has gone through detailed top down makeover. But most importantly, the browser is now supporting Webkit, which means the websites viewed in the browser going to be as beauty as the what you see in the like of  iPhone or Android phone.

Well, the wait almost comes to an end soon, as RIM is expected to announce the launch of BlackBerry 9800 in the US next Tuesday (at least 1-2 month before it hit our shores). The news is not come really as surprise as the rumors has been floating since early this month. As shown on many leaked images, Blackberry 9800 going to have traditional Blackberry keyboard, and… the new resistive touch screen. Gone the day of ‘Sure Press’ technology that live in the Storm and Storm 2. RIM has a high hope on Blackberry 6 and Blackberry 9800 to challenge the domination of iPhone and Android, but until the device safely tested by users, nothing can prove if Blackberry 9800 going to be iPhone or Android killer.
