You can have a closer look at what’s form the candidate to rival iPhone and Android dominance, such as Qualcomm 680Mhz processor, the 12 Megapixel camera, AMOLED touch screen and etc with their step by steps photos and explanation. The Nokia N8 is finally available for pre-order in Malaysia from Nokia Malaysia itself. You can pre-order online from here (without paying anything) or walk in to any Nokia store, pay RM200 to pre-order it (confirmed it with Nokia folk at The Garden yesterday). Nokia N8 is scheduled to be released next week.
The collection data would be on 16 – 17 October at the collection point that will only be informed later on. If you register early before 15th October, your N8 will have 12 months additional warranty on top of the free Nokia N8 Spine case that available for all pre-order phones
Eid Mubaraq or Raya had just passed a week ago, though the Raya mood still going strong with lots of open house to attend. Anyhow, for those that cut their online activity off like me, I just figure out the Raya phone sale from Celcom.But do not expect huge cut although the ads claim the 1/2 price off.
The price advertised on their printed and website is the normal subsidized price (because of the the contract, usually 12 months) with additional price cut. For instance, originally Blackberry Cuve 9300 is priced at Rm688 with RM250 monthly commitment for 1 year, but with this promotion, there is additional RM100 off. And here is the good news for everyone looking for Nokia N8. Finally, the latest Nokia’s flagship smartphone has the much awaited release date, though unofficial, it is going to be at 30th September. The word appears coming from one of Nokia’s top exec, Tapani Kaskinen . Whether it is to be believe of not, who am I to argue the date, right ? Nokia N8 is the key factor if Symbian ^3 OS still has it’s place in the smartphone market.

This is not smartphone that I used to blog here. Nokia C2 is just regular phone, but because C2 is Nokia’s first dual sim card phone, it is quite an attention grabber for person looking for dual sim phone from the Finnish phone maker. I for one looking of such phone as I’m already tired to bring 3 phones everywhere. It’s not yet available here, but according to Nokia Malaysia website, it is coming soon.
As you can, the specs is not impressive, but just nice to everyday use. It does support email and messaging, just what I need. As bonus, there is radio, something that you won’t found by default on smartphone.
