Maxis add another 2 phones to it’s steadily growing phones lineup with Nokia N8 and Nokia X3. Both smartphones were unveiled last week during one event in KL.
Nokia N8 is obviously going to be one of top sale with it’s gorgeous design, quite positive review about Symbian^3 OS, and hardware spec unmatched by most smartphones already available in the market, with exception to the processor and RAM/ROM perhaps. The phone to go on sale from RM999 if you stay in 24 months contract.
Nokia X3 on the other side is relatively unknown phone in this part of the world. But it is actually Nokia’s first phone that comes with both touch screen and keypad.Though it is basically entry level smartphone , it still equipped with all things necessary for beginners such as Gmail app, social networking app and etc. The phone is free if you subscribe to any value plus plan for 24 months period.
Celcom’s Nokia C3 great sale is over but if you still keen on this cute phone, it is now available at Celcom Bluecube stores. You can get it even for free if you willing to commit to 250 permonths for 24 months contract. But RM88 per-month sounds more make sense here and the phones is yours for RM278. You have seen this promos ads in newspaper, FB, Twitter and etc. Nokia C3 for RM 99, that’s true but only for the first 50 lucky customers. For the next 50 not so lucky customers has to purchase it for RM199, well still not bad.. Hurry up go queue there guys! But I guess someone is already there this morning.

In one event today in KL city, Nokia has announced the price of Nokia N8, and if you one of those that admire this smartphone and perhaps had pre-ordered it, you should be grateful that it is indeed cheap. Yeah, with all those specification, Nokia N8 is priced at only RM1690. Believe it. For comparison, other smartphone such as HTC Aria and Blackberry Bold is priced at around Rm1699 and RM1800 respectively.
To remind you again, what’s make Nokia N8 so special is the overall design, that doesn’t looks like others. Main specs includes 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optic with autofocus and xenon flash, Video capture in 720p 25 fps with codecs H.264, MPEG-4, a6GB internal memory with MicroSD memory card slot, hot swappable, up to 32 GB and of course the first Nokia smartphone running on Symbian ^3.

Despite the emergence of high end smartphone from the like of Blackberry iPhone and Android, there is still room for low end smartphone like what Celcom is going to offer beginning this Friday. Nokia C3 touted as the most affordable social network enabled phone by Nokia, and with price around Rm550, obviously this is one of the cheapest phone in the market. To sweeten the deal, Celcom is offering this phone for RM99 for the first 50 customers and RM199 for the next 50 customers. A great way to attract the crowd, right?
