If you have been wondering why the price of Dell Inspiron Mini 10v is getting cheaper lately, here is the reason. The new Dell Inspiron Mini 10 (no longer called 10v) had just been released couple of days ago.
Beside the new looks (some say taking cue from Adamo especially the hinge) the new Intel Atom N450 is now powering this netbook, which is said to be more power efficient.
Dell claimed the 6 cells battery can lasted up to 9.5 hours, compared to the 2009 model which lasted 1.5 hours less. However, the weight is now little bit heavier at 1.25kg compared to 1.17kg on the previous model.
Except the price tag at RM1299 which is RM100 pricier from previous model, the enhancement does make this netbook a better piece of machine. Head to Inspiron Mini page for detail spec.
Dell apparently has slashed the price of its Inspiron mini 10 netbook to MYR1699 from MYR1899 when it was first released to the local market. No worry, as the specs are remain exactly the same.
But personally, I think netbook should be priced below MYR1500 in order to look more tempting.
WWAN support and other ‘coming soon’ features are still nowhere to be seen. Head to this page to find out more.
Inspiron Mini 10available on Malaysia market around mid of March. With price tag starting fromRM1899, it’s quite pricey compared to other netbooks in the market.
Just in case if you plan to get one for yourself, check this unboxing video by Jason of Digitalhomethought. It’s rather a long video, but it has extensive review, revealing the inside out of this netbook.
After almost a month released on the US market, Inspiron Mini 10 finally make it way here on Dell.com.my. It priced from MYR 1899 with standard feature as below. We went to Dell Store Mid Valley Megamall today to get closer look, but the store has not yet to put it on display.
