Great news for folks lives out of Klang Valley, as iPhone 4 is going to be available near your places. Maxis is having roadshow at number of location showcasing iPhone 4 this weekend. If you happen to live nearby the roadshow location, and would like to get one, it’s better to be there as from the tweet tweeted by @Maxiscomm , they had received new batch of iPhone 4, which available on first come first serve basis. Maxis contract-less iPhone 4 is also cheaper than what is offered on the grey market.

All phones comes mandatory with data and sms/call plan with 12/24 months contract (sorry no prepaid at the moment). The lowest one, iValue 1 has 1GB data, 333 minutes local talktime and 250 sms all for RM100.
As for the iPhone 4 price itself is vary, it depend on how long the contract and how much you pay monthly. It is even free if you subscribe iValue 4 for 2 years. Not my word, but this is what Maxis emailing everyone who has registered for iPhone 4 update. The terms used ‘very soon’ , is very tempting and signaling that iPhone 4 is very close to hit our shores.. , just a matter of time.. Is this for real?? I’ve no idea. On the iPhone 4 roadmap release, there is 1 batch of countries to receive iPhone 4 by end of August, well, probably Malaysia is one of them. Here is the email.

iPhone 4 will be available in another 18 more countries by the end of July, and we all know that Malaysia is not one of them. More countries will be added later but there is no confirmation which countries and when it is going to be. So when Digi and Maxis start put up iPhone 4 pre-registration page on their website, that’s the clearest sign ever that they iPhone 4 will hit our shores soon, probably by end if August. Apple strict style won’t let their partners to speculate the rumors, unless something has confirm black and white, just like in this case. Digi appears to be the first to have the registration page went live this evening, followed by Maxis soon afterward. It’s close ‘war’ of marketing, but I do not expect the price war ahead. Price? Unfortunately there is none, so stay tune.
