Rumors and Apple is very synonym, indeed they’re so closed. Sometime the rumors end up totally nonsense, but that’s the nature of rumors right. Some might true and close to the real product, that’s the time when you’ll said, ooh,they’re right.
Well, back to rumors, I think this is the first rumors I heard after the release of iPad and iPhone 4. In the ‘shelf’ there is new iPod which going to have new iPod Nano, iPod Touch and unidentified iPod. There is even iPod 4 Touch case, reported being manufactured right now. Next is iPad rumors, or shall we call it iPad mini as it is rumored to have 7″ screen only.
iPhone 4 is a must have rumors as it has the most chaotic news spreading all over the place last year. There is ni hardware speculation thought, except for the rumored release date. Rumors about bumper, thanks but not interested..
Here is the news that you always wanted to hear. The always reliable Dev-Team has released Ultrasn0w 1.0-1 that capable of unlocking iPhone 4. This version can unlock iPhone4 baseband 01.59 and iPhone 3G/3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04. Dev-team 1 , Apple 0 for iPhone 4.. Another baseband freed!

So with My3g app on jailbroken iPhone 4, FaceTime can be use over 3G connection, rather than just Wifi as what Apple preset. Wondering how much data consumed by FaceTime over 3G connection? Folk at 9to5mac has done some testing, and here is what they figure out. They have run FaceTime test on 3G connection for 5 minutes, and roughly it is using 3MB perminute. Personally I think that’s reasonable, but unless you have unlimited data package, you might want to use FaceTime over Wifi instead if you’re heavy user. So anyone here have tested it and how much data it use?

Well Apple, it looks like that we no longer need you to enable FaceTime to works with the 3G connection as someone has did it for you. I mean for the time being. You know why? We have something called My3G , an app which can be installed on jailbroken phone. Although it is no free, cost $2.99 on Cydia, but it works although the quality is not really good. Because wifi availability is limited we want this Facetime over 3G connection badly. Anyway, does anybody test it in Malaysia and works with local telco connection?
