Dell Inspiron 15 For Just RM1,499, Notebook That Doesn’t Hurt Your Budget

Well, perhaps this is the better way to spend your hard-earned money on something that more useful.. than iPad, I’m saying’ perhaps’ because if the place you call home is still without any computer, so it’s better to spend on that rather than tablet, like iPad, as computer technically can do more task that the tablet can’t. And it’s hard-earned money anyway.

It is rare that 15 inch notebook with Pentium Dual Core processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 operating system comes with the price tag below RM1500. Without Windows OS, yes perhaps. So Dell Inspiron 15 notebook which is priced at RM1499 is very ideal for someone looking for budget notebook without compromising the performance. It may look bulky and not as pretty as other notebook, but the spec is worth every single penny you spend. And you know what, Inspiron 15 price made 10 inch netbook (price usually ranged from RM999 – RM1299) looks over priced.

New Dell Inspiron Mini 10 (1018) Hit Our Shores

The third generation of Dell Inspiron Mini 10 (1018) finally hit our shores. The new Inspiron Mini 10 now comes with couple of enhancement from the latest Atom N455 processor (previous version is N450), DDR3 RAM and wireless-N technology. The battery now boast 7-8 hours long usage, much better than it predecessor. The internal hardisk size and RAM remain the same at RM250GB and 1GB respectively. Of all this still offered with the same affordable retail price at RM1199.

Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Price Dropped!

The new Dell Inspiron Mini 10 netbook with Intel Atom N450 processor launched last January is now RM100 cheaper. That’s bring the price tag to RM1199 from 1299 when it if first released. This price is only applicable if you purchase it from Dell online store, as retailers still selling it with the old price. The drop in price also probably means new Inspiron Mini 10v is coming is soon. But that’s purely my assumption based on my experience when I just purchased the older version of Inspiron Mini 10v when a month later, Inspiron Mini 10v with N450 is released. New Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Out Now

If you have been wondering why the price of Dell Inspiron Mini 10v is getting cheaper lately, here is the reason. The new Dell Inspiron Mini 10 (no longer called 10v) had just been released couple of days ago.

Beside the new looks (some say taking cue from Adamo especially the hinge) the new Intel Atom N450 is now powering this netbook, which is said to be more power efficient.

Dell claimed the 6 cells battery can lasted up to 9.5 hours, compared to the 2009 model which lasted 1.5 hours less. However, the weight is now little bit heavier at 1.25kg compared to 1.17kg on the previous model.

Except the price tag at RM1299 which is RM100 pricier from previous model, the enhancement does make this netbook a better piece of machine. Head to Inspiron Mini page for detail spec.

Unboxing Dell Inspiron 1525

This Dell Inspiron 1525 reach our desk few days back. Not much special about it, although it now has sleeker design, colorful case, and sport XPS looks alike especially its side view. Inspiron 1525 was introduced last April, to replace its older and bulkier sibling, Inspiron 1520. In fact, 1525 is nearing its life cycle as well. The next generation of Inspiron 15 inch model, simply called Inspiron 15 is already on the market now.

With 2.7 kg weight, this notebook is considerably heavy. Powered by Pentium D, 1 GB memory, integrated Intel graphic cards and run on Windows Vista basic, obviously this is not a performance notebook. What else can you expect from RM1900 notebook, right?

The screen is bright enough for daily use, but the touch pad is less sensitive. The keyboard is quite nice, but still, the old Latitude has superior keyboard than this.
