Nexus One and HTC Evo Hacked To Run Ubuntu

Android enthusiast out there has successfully hacked their device and install Ubuntu on Nexus one and HTC Evo 4G in this week alone. The folk at nexusonehacks.net and htcevohacks.com which is run by the same brilliant guy has achieved this feat and making it looks pretty easy. The end result is neat and awesome. If only if I have this device, I would try for the same, but sadly HTC Magic that I own is too slow to run this stuff, just my guess.

Rooted phone is the main perquisite  to get this stuff running, in case you’re interested to do so at home. The instruction as well well as videos to install Ubuntu has been posted in respective site, with I have linked below, so enjoy! Based on the result, it looks like Ubuntu is running slightly faster in Nexus one than HTC Evo, but the result may vary.

Petiton To Apple To Give Free iPhone 4 Cases To Overcome Reception Issue

Petiton To Apple To Give Free iPhone 4 Cases To Overcome Reception Issue

We all know what Gizmodo has unpleasant relationship with Apple ever since Gizmodo leaked the iPhone 4 photos and detail. The drama continue with police raid to one of Gizmodo editor to get back the iPhone. It is not surprise that Gizmodo is missing from the list of media invited to witness the launch of iPhone 4 on June.

And then there is iPhone 4 reception issue that Gizmodo waste no time to give it ‘full and extensive’ coverage. Indeed there is issue, but no doubt there is also sense of, if I can say revenge (probably not that accurate) or dissatisfaction due to what was happen, right?

The latest of Gizmodo effort in overcoming that problem is a petition requesting Apple to provide free casing to all iPhone 4 owners who face the problem. I’m totally behind this one, and if I own iPhone 4 later, and if there is the same problem, I’m sure that I as fume as existing user now. So, lend your support to the petition by hitting this link to the petition page.
