
The ‘problem’ with having so much photos is, how to enjoy the photo offline without so much hassle as well as sharing it with friends and relatives. There are social sites such as Facebook and Flickr, but not everyone are connected to internet. Printing it out might be a good idea, but it is not so cost effective if you have lots of them.
That’s how I come across with digital photo frame. It is not a new innovation, but it become relevant to me recently after my photos piling up. I was thinking the same way like most people probably in the past, what the heck digital frame is, and why you need it when you can upload it to Facebook, Flickr or anywhere else that everyone can view it? I just don’t see the key point ‘convenient’ at that time
I’m not sure who first invent this device, although it looks like Kodak has wide range of product under its brand. I set my sight to it , but it doesn’t come cheap. Another thing to consider is, the product availability on the market. Over to Lelong, only 1 Kodak model available.
In Lowyat.net, you choose from the no brand digital frame priced at RM250 to branded digital frame such as Sony , AVLabs, Philips and Transcend. At the end of the day, it depend on you pocket to decide.
