Digi Slash iPhone 3GS and 3G Prices and iDigi Plans!

Update 8-July-2010 : It appears this whole post is incorrect due to my failure interpreting the wording use on Digi iPhone page. The correct iPhone price is shown at ‘Payment Option’ tab which I failed to observed earlier. Thanks to commentator who notify about this.

I’m telling you yesterday that right now is probably the most suitable time to get iPhone 3GS, and looks like I’m quite right here. iPhone 4 is gonna be here later sooner or later, and existing stock must be cleared out. To get job done fast and hassle free, cutting the iPhone price and plan is the easiest way!! So there you go. Digi appears to be the first to do so , but Maxis will follow the suit pretty suit I think.

With monthly fee as low as RM60 permonth and RM1390 for iPhone3GS 16GB, getting an iPhone is more affordable nowadays. This is RM28 and RM1100 price drop for plan and iPhone price respectively! That’s huge cut man! But bear in mind this comes with 2 years contract, and if you’re heavy users 1GB data cap might no sufficient. You can opt for iDigi138, an RM90 plan that let you buy iPhone 3GS 16G for RM890!! That’s even cheaper, if you really use that much, why not right??

Digi iPhone Pre-Order Closed, Delivery Soon?

digi iphone closed Digi iPhone Pre Order Closed, Delivery Soon?

The iPhone pre-order from Digi are now closed with notification collection details will be out,’very soon’. It’s pretty exciting moment  for those that pre-orders iPhone, but at the time the feeling impatient can grows from day to day . Oh man.. this is iPhone that everyone talk about!! Who cares Apple suing HTC or Nokia, right?

Anyway, while waiting for the shiny new toy to knock your doors, it is good idea to knows more about iPhone. For starter, I highly recommend this one.  You can start shopping for iPhone accessories as well, if you can’t resist the iPhone aura.

Digi Open Pre-Order for iPhone

iphone digi preorder Digi Open Pre Order for iPhone

Beginning last Thursday until 18 of March, Digi has opened the pre-order for iPhone, signaling that the launch date is nearing. No price or information about the plan available at this point of time, but soon will be emailed to those that pre-order the phone according to FAQ.

During pre-order period, one person only eligible to book one unit of iPhone , which will be available for self pick up at Digi Centre at Penang, KL and Kota Kinabalu. More detail about pre-order can be obtained here.

This is pretty exciting news to those that wish to use iPhone ever since Maxis launch it 2 years ago, but can’t afford for high cost of ownership, or loyal Digi customers who prefer to stay with the carrier network. I know you’re one of them (just kidding). I can sense some sort of price war going to happen soon!

On another side, Apple has 4th version of iPhone in pipeline due to release on June or July. You may notice the rumors that has circulated around on the net for sometime, it is pretty solid. I’m sure that you would want to consider that before jumping to the line.

l’ll stick to my first gen of iPhone until the next gen of iPhone offers completely different experience of smoothness, feels and design. And yes, iPad is just around the corner, do you think it’ll be here soon as well?

Digi To Bring iPhone Soon, Watch Out Maxis

digi iphone Digi To Bring iPhone Soon, Watch Out Maxis

I can guess, that this is the moment that every Digi customers are eagerly waiting for. Why not?? IPhone will soon run officially on Digi network, would you imagine that few months back??

That’s true folks,  Digi will be the second telco in Malaysia to offer iPhone, after Maxis that claim that feat almost 2 years ago. In my past post, I have stated that possibility, although that assumption is  based on the fact that Telenor, Digi’s parent company has secured that right last year.

I can feel that Maxis will soon lost this game if it doesn’t change immediately. Their current iPhone price and package is too expensive. Just look at how they were outplayed by Celcom in wireless broadband as well as Blackberry.

I’m sure that Digi will come out with affordable package, typical to their style in order to win the customer. I’d like to see how Maxis will react to this development. Or they just stand still??
