I’m sure this is good news for Digi users who can now making a phone call at above 36,000 feet!! Yeap, you read it correctly 36k feet above the sea level.

This is barely 4 months after Maxis partnering with Mas and Aeromobile to offer the first service of its kind here in Malaysia. Apparently Digi is using the same partners as well , Mas and Aeromobile and the service are on selected flight only.

b) *111* outgoing call to M’sia: RM15.00 / min
c) Receiving calls: RM15.00 / min
d) Outgoing SMS: RM0.99 / SMS (Postpaid) and RM1.00 / SMS Prepaid)
e) Receiving SMS: Free
f) GPRS Roaming: RM100 / MB

p/s: Just make sure that you’re not turning on your phone before given a green light from cabin crew . Otherwise, that could be probably your last call/sms.
