Digi finally begin selling Blackberry Torch 9800 today, and with quite tempting offer. The first 300 customers can purchase this smartphone at only RM999, pretty good deal although it still far-far away from what Celcom offer couple of weeks ago. If you missed the 300 slots, the smartphone can still be purchased at RM1499 for 24 months or RM1799 for 12 months contract. As usual, Digi Smartplan (rm68 permonth) comes with this smartphone.

Straight to the point. With contract, the lowest price you can this phone is at RM1399 for 24 months contract with RM90 subscription fee. Not that low if you compare how RM8 can get you brand new Blackberry Torch 9800 from Celcom, but that’s only for the lucky first 1o customers.

Google alert has tipped me countless time, and so did today. From the 2 posts alerted by Google Alert, now I know that Celcom will finally releasing Blackberry Torch 9800 this 28 October. The posts are part of Nufnang contest to review Blackberry Torch 9800 with Celcom Exec. If you recall Celcom and the rest of telcos had been accepted the device pre-order since last months but it seems only now it is available. So if you have been waiting Blackberry Torch for sometime, cheers as your wait is almost over.
