Bold 9800 Slider Looks Promising In Demo

Remember blackberry slider photos that leaked couple of months ago? Apparently the leaked photos is Bold  9800 according the source below. The actual design with the leaked photos is pretty much the same.

Exactly as BB user wanted badly, OS 6 that appears on the photos looks promising with quite pretty and clean interface. But great looks alone is not enough. RIM should move faster with OS 6 as Apple’s iOS4 and Android 2.2 seems unstoppable right now.

Blackberry Slider Is Now The Next Blackberry Bold?

BBleaks did it again. After posting series of Blackberry Slider images couple of days ago, BBleaks has posted another series of Blackberry Slider images, which is much clearer now.

And now instead of Blackberry Storm that they thought this model going to be in future, another opinion suggest that, this might be the next Blackberry Bold model instead. Backing up that opinion is, the keyboard design that Blackberry Slider had, which is the ‘signature’ of Blackberry Bold.

Well, but I’m still sticking to my belief that this is the next Blackberry Storm for the reason that I’m not too sure. Probably, my interest in touch screen had my belief little bit biased. Or because I think that Blackberry should have device with both touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard to better compete in smart phone market. But that’s just my one cent.

Leave that alone at the moment, whatever this model going to be, I wish to see Blackberry Slider to have AMOLED capacitive touch screen (asking too much isn’t it) and decent keyboard as Blackberry used to be. BBleaks, good job!

From that promo onwards, this device is being offered at RM1588 or RM 1388 depending on the package that you choose, which is slightly subsidized by Celcom, from its RRP at RM1988.

There is installment plan available as well for those who prefers that payment method. Both offers require 12 months commitment. Head to this page for more info.

Blackberry Bold 9700 Now Available At Celcom & Maxis

bb bold 9700 Blackberry Bold 9700 Now Available At Celcom & Maxis

If you have been waiting impatiently for the new Blackberry Bold 9700 to land in Malaysia, smile… because the waiting is over. The new Blackberry Bold 9700 is now officially here, via Celcom and Maxis.

Celcom is going to have Celcom Blackberry Party (Celcom love party!) at La Bodega, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on 15 Jan 2010 to introduce this device. If you can’t find the reason why you need to be there, here it is.

Celcom is giving 50% discount for the first 150 customers, which I’m sure will be sold like a hotcake. FYI, Celcom RRP is at RM1988, meaning that you only pay RM988 to get hold of this beauty. Be sure to read more about it here, as the device comes with data & voice/sms plan, as well as advance payment.

As for Maxis, I’m not sure when it is going to hit the store, but you can start to pre-book the device from their signup page. No price, plan, advance payment is available at the moment,  except RRP at RM2099. No special offer except that, the first 300 customers will bring home free Jabra Stone Bluetooth headset.

However, I’m positive that Maxis has launched (probably internally or invite only party) this Blackbery Bold 9700 together with the new Blackberry Storm based on the the party photos that you can search in Facebook.
