new ipod touch 450x298 New iPod Touch, Now With Front Facing andRear Camera and FaceTime!

So the rumors appears to be true. Apple had just announced the new iPod Touch. It is thinner, more beautiful and many more. Just name it. Retina Display, A4 chip, 3 axis gyro, iOs 4.1, front facing and rear camera and you’ll love it, it now comes with FaceTime! It’s not too much to say that the new iPod Touch is nearing iPhone 4 features except, probably making phone call over the cellular network. It has FaceTime though, so you can still make a vide call though Wifi with the loves one without paying a single cent, right?

Pricing will starting from $229 for 8GB model, $299 for 32GB and $399 for 64GB. The pre-order will start today in the US and it will be shipped by next week. Apple Store Malaysia appears to be down, so hopefully it will landed here right away as well. Stay tune folks

Over 250,000 Apps Now In Apple App Store

apple app store Over 250,000 Apps Now In Apple App Store

Two reports from 2 different sources confirmed that Apple’s App Store now has whopping 250,000 plus applications as of today. This is obviously another major milestone for App Store, since it’s inception about 2 years ago, a number that undoubtedly will keep increasing in near future.

The first report is coming from 148Apps.biz which track that App Store now has 251,007 applications from 50,304 publisher.  Another report from AppShopper.com, report the total apps now stood at 253,777 apps, including 24,334 for the iPad, not far from the figure reported by 148apps.biz.

Though this figure is unofficial, the number should pretty close with the actual figure in App store. Steve Jobs may have that answer on 1st September, when Apple is going to held special event to launch what could be the next gen of iPod and Apple TV.

Apple iPad Now Ships Within 24 Hours

Apple iPad Now Ships Within 24 Hours

Contrary to 7-10 estimated shipment days for iPad at the end of July(talking about APAC), Apple iPad is now shipped within 24 hours. The immediate shipping period is obviously welcomed by soon-gonna-be buyer who prepare to place order for highly popular device. Quick check on Apple Store Singapore proving the 24 hours shipment period has been around for sometime (although iPhone 4 still took 3 weeks to be shipped).

It is either the demand has slowed down lately (due to impeding launch of other tablet, or most people that want iPad already get one) or Apple has managed to cope with the supply chain and part shortage that badly effected it’s ability to fulfill the initial order, this is effectively sending clear message that Apple has sufficient iPad stock in hand and pave the way for the release on other country, such as Malaysia.. Oh yes, I’ve almost forgotten that iPad hasn’t officially available here, but it is sold everywhere in Lowyat or gadget store. Imported from Singapore huh?

Broken ‘Find A Store’ Link In Apple Store Malaysia’s iPhone Webpage Fixed

iPhone page store malaysia Broken Find A Store Link In Apple Store Malaysias iPhone Webpage Fixed

If you browse through Apple Store Malaysia’s iPhone 4 webpage and click on the ‘Find a Store’ link before, you’ll end up with page stating something like that what you’re looking for is not available. Well, that error lasted for about 2 months, couple of weeks after iPhone 4 is released, and it appears today that it has been fixed after the store brough down temporarily yesterday. Now what you’ll see on the page is as shown above. Either the error is unintentional or intentional as the iPhone 4 is not yet ready, and as it fixed now, does that means that iPhone 4 is going be released very soon?
