RIM has released Blackberry App World 2.0 few days ago with some enhancement on UI as well as additional features. I have wasted no time to update App World in my Curve 8520 and here is some of things that RIM highlight on this release. The main menu is pretty much the same thing, dark and little bit boring . The feature app are still there as well as other sub menu below it.

The biggest change on App World 2.0 is how Top 25 has been enhanced. Top 25 menu now displaying Top 25 apps from 5 category which is free app, paid app, new app, top themes and recently updated apps. Toggle between top 25 apps category is simple, just scroll the the trackball left and right.

Blackberry App World is now also accepting payment by credit card on top of Paypal which is the default payment option.

App World now require you to have Blackberry ID, before the menu can be viewed. Beside that which I feel little bit late to come, the menu has receive minor update. The overall App World has been simplified so viewing applications installed, deleted or pending is a breeze.

The paid app minimum price has been reduced from $0.99, instead of $2.99 imposed before.

To those missing scanning QRcode feature in order to install application on other OS platform, no worry as the QRcode scanning functionality has been added as well. This feature will quickly allow user to install app by scanning barcode without hassle to open app world, search and install the desired app.
Blackberry App World can be installed OTA to smartphone or installed through desktop. Download yours here.
