Contract-less HTC Aria Available At Digi

Digi HTC Aria Contract less HTC Aria Available At Digi

It is barely about a month ago that Digi started selling HTC Aria bundled with it’s package, but it is now already available in their online store. Low take-up perhaps? That’s means also, it is available without contract, and with quite reasonable price at Rm1599 (retailer selling this smartphone at almost similar size without any freebies)

As usual, it comes with standard Digi ‘goodies’ such as Digi prepaid simcard, free data and other listed above. HTC Aria is smartphone running on Google Android OS with 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, 600 Mhz processor 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and many more.

Motorola Backflip Now Available At Maxis

It’s another Android smartphone available in Maxis beginning yesterday. The new addition to Maxis Android smartphone line up is Motorola Backflip with price from RM888 for 2 years contract. But that’s all because I feel little bit odd. I can’t tell why Maxis decide to offer this phone, as this is quite outdated Android phone with only Android 1.5 OS. But who am I to complain right. But considering the low price for capacitive touch screen with qwerty keyboard, it might be a bargain for some.

With bunches of Android smartphone around, it’s great if there is one place to compare them all, just like what Google had just introduced, called Google Phone Gallery. Google Phone Gallery list down almost all popular Android smartphone according to the country and carrier that offer this phone. It let you compare the smartphone model side by side including the main specification as well as the availability. You can filter the model by model, carriers and countries.

But one problem with Google Phone Gallery is, the list is not complete. It caters to certain countries only and even not all Android smartphones are listed. Malaysia for instance is initially only listed with HTC Wildfire from Maxis, but soon it is gone from the list.  But yeah, they promise to add more model along the way.

Excluding the information about the carriers, smartphone websites such as GSMarena.com or GSMArena perhaps provide more comprehensive list of specification along with the review. Google Phone Gallery is not  ready to be the definitive source of Android smartphone just yet.
