Celcom teams up with Dell to release another broadband-notebook bundle using the new Dell Latitude E-series. This is adding another choice of notebooks to its package, which at present only has HP Compaq. Unlike HP Compaq which is an ‘entry level’ notebook targeted to consumers, the new ‘business’ notebook will expand Dell’s product range towards small medium businesses.

According to the local news, the new Dell Latitude N-series will be equipped with Celcom built-in mobile broadband and Vodafone mobile connect built-in software. No technical details are available in Dell Malaysia or Celcom websites even though Celcom wireless external broadband modem is using Huawei technology,

As comparison, in the UK, where the wireless internet broadband is offered by Vodafone, it is using Dell Wireless 5520 Mobile Broadband(Tri-band HSDPA 3.6) Mini-Card.

The notebooks are priced from RM4,399 (not certain if installment payment via credit card is available), on which users are enjoying free unlimited wireless internet broadband for one month and a discounted rate of RM50 per month for the next six months.
