What is SES
This would be the first year of my blogging career, and it would be the first time I’m reading about SES even though I heard about before. So what is SES (Search Engine Strategies). From their official website, as it name suggested, it is conference and expo that discuss about the latest development and update about search engine Initially, most of the information about SES that I read came from WebProNews, one of my favorite ebusiness news provider other than TechCrunch and TechMeme. I do recommend you to the register their newsletter or RSS feed to keep updated with the latest news. Back to SES, every year most internet marketers, SEO experts and key industry related personal will attend this much sought after event. So what is interesting this round? There are bunch of informations available from their blog. I’ll try to pick some of of the interesting information available there for my own reference and you too my dearest reader. 1. SEOMoz post some tips how to build your networking better. This is not related directly to search engine, but it more toward building relationship with those ‘big guys’ attending the events. There is nothing unusual about the tips, but it present great reminder to us to do some homework prior the event as well sharpen your communication skills of course. 2. Google is opening it owns Click-Fraud Resource Center or called Ad Traffic Quality Resource Center as posted by InternetNews. It seems google has taking a step further after sued by group of advertisers due to this issue back then 3. Cnet News.com reported that Yahoo has los it market share, again. I’m early waiting how Yahoo will respond toward this declining and I’m interested to see how the comeback of their founder will help pulling the company back on the right track 4. David Dalka has posted some interesting post about Earning Money from contextual ads where one of my favorite blogger, ShoeMoney is giving his opinion. 5. There is some interesting post about video search optimization from bruceclay 6. Picture search seems one of the favourite topic here and I found a couple of interesting post from WebProNews and Live blog and rbdrodeo . One interesting point is the usage of “Alt Text” on all pictures uploaded to the net
