Antollroid (kinda weird the name though) is an Android App suitable for traveler who commute frequently on Plus highway. That’s how this app is born according to the Hongster, creator of this app. The app will calculate the toll amount from one point to another, so you’re not get embarrassed if your Touch N Go card have insufficient balance, or worst you’re out of cash! This is not pretty app by looking at it GUI, but the function it is offering is good enough to have it installed in my HTC Magic.
The smart phone community in Malaysia, particularly iPhone and Android has more to cheers with addition of 2 more mobile banking app for their phone.
CIMB Click
Kudos to CIMB as the first bank to have apps in 2 most popular smartphone platform, iPhone and Android. What’s interesting about the app is, it is not just ATM or branches finder, but it is also an app that let you check balance without login, beside other function that’s pretty much common on other banking app. CIMB Click for Android is available in Android Market from your Android phone.

Another mobile banking application for Malaysia from banking giant, Citibank. Citibank MY making debut in iPhone last week. Citi Mobile user, can log in to your account from this app to view their account. Other functions included branch locator, promotion and etc. The app is available in Apps Store from your iPhone.
So yesterday, Apple has released iOS 4.0.1 software update, which not going to address the reception issue, but more less keeping the reception signal bar accurately showing the signal strength. And so I other bug fixes as well. If you’re iPhone 4 owner, this is must have update right? But if you’re using older iPhone like me, and the type of people that not rushing to update due to concern on stability or etc, and prefer to wait the next minor software update, so this our time. Tonight, my 3GS will run iOS 4.0.1, and hopefully everything run smoothly.
“I dream off creating mobile apps, now my dream almost comes true”. Perhaps, that’s what most people thought upon seeing App Inventor, tool developed by Google to simplify developing Android application. Well you see, never in my life ever dream that developing mobile app as easy as drag and drop stuff into canvas, and in seconds the app is ready to go, at least on your own mobile phone.
But this is real, and in case you’re interested, drop you request here, and who knows you’re one of the lucky person to get early invitation. I’ve submitted mine, so Google please let me in!! Stay away from dreaming of getting rich selling the app developed using this tool, as Google may already aware what your intention is.
So you and I knows that CyanogenMod 6 aka CM6 still have couple of issue pending with regard to HTC Magic, Dream and G1 couple of weeks ago . Trust me, this folks is working round the clock to get the issue resolved and good news that CyanogenMod 6 RC1 is now available to be downloaded. Nexus One and Desire users has been enjoying this ROM since few weeks back, it is now the older phone turn to enjoy Froyo aka Android 2.2. As it is the very early stage of CM6, do not always expect the smooth ride. Before you go further, take time to read the lengthy discussion at XDA-Developer to get an idea of what is working and what is not.
