While traveling to KL last weekend, I was able to free my self and visit Malaysian computer ‘heaven’, Plaza Low Yat which famous with hundreds of shops selling telecommunications, gadget and computer stuff with the prize that you can get anywhere else (legally in Malaysia)

I’m not a computer geek, but this time, I tried to build new system from scratch based on advice from my friends and some tips from lowyat.net forum. I end up buying motherboard, graphic card, switch and etc that I capture some of them below, but without my Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz that I bought in Penang earlier. Added to this family would be Dell 24″ wide screen LCD that will be received probably by end of this week.

I’m displaying also my old but gold systems, that are loyal to me, give me less troublesome and service me well since my earlier day on Internet entrepreneurship (my notebook) and old P3 (2nd hand) with 19″ Dell LCD that has accompanied me since 3 years ago.

Building you own system from scratch will definitely give you satisfaction in terms of performance. On the other side, you will spend more since you’re using quite high end parts that do not necessarily important if you’re use it solely for blogging purpose. The solutions, grab more games, or buy more gadgets to fully utilized it (don’t listen to this advice)

Btw, I’ll test this rig with the podcasting set that I win from createbusinessgrowth blog couple of weeks ago. I have no idea how it works, but I’ll definitely give it a try before deciding if it worth to keep it.

• The 13th day of a month is more likely to fall on a Friday than on any other day. In each 400-year cycle of the Gregorian calendar, 170 years have one Friday the 13th, 171 have two, and 59 have three.
• It is impossible to have a year with no Friday the 13th or a year with four or more Fridays the 13th.
• When there are three Fridays the 13th in a year, they occur in February, March and November except in leap years. In leap years, they occur in January, April and July.

Wednesday (July 4th) would be non busy day for me. You want to know why? That is holiday time. Not for me, but for my office HQ in US. They’re celebrating Independence Day. What that means to me? Since my job scope are focus mostly to US, on that day means, less task, less assignment and less meeting. But that doesn’t mean that I can relax in office. Btw, don’t let my boss know ok.

I would like to take opportunity to wish Independence Day and happy holiday to all Americans. Please drive carefully (do they have same behavior while driving likes us??) Malaysia, my lovely homeland, do have it’s own Independence Day which is celebrated on Aug 31st. The celebration this year is very special since its mark the 50th this country’s independence from British. Happy Independence Day to everyone!!

Today would be the second time i update my blog with my own words. Since i haven’t decide what topic should this blog focus to, I would like to share the meaning of this blog’s name. Most of us should know or heard ‘blog’ before, but what about ‘jer’. Why it had ‘jer’ at the end of ‘blog’ ? Ok, for Malaysian they should know what it is. Actually ‘jer’ is not officiall malaysian word. But it is rojak language originated from ’sa-ha-ja’ which means just. So blogjer means just blog, some sort like that

Why blogjer? Well, it because my first domain has ‘jer’ at the end of it as well. Checkout onlinejer.com. I feel ‘cool’ to have jer at the end of 1 english word. Don’t ask me why, but maybe because of i like it.. That’s all.. full stop. I would like to have an empire of website which end up with ‘jer’ as my own trademark, hehe sounds think big

My first experiment on internet marketing is not throught blog. It started from onlinejer.com - article directory. I will post another topic about this later, but as a part time internet marketer, i admit that i have difficulties to post an article or topic consistently. I do have few other blogs hosted in blogger and wordpress, but the content is not 100% written by me, it’s from my article directory where i choose the best articles and post it there. From there i started learning more about blog before i decide to have my own blog hosted by myself
