Lunch at Al-Marjan

This lunch is sponsored by my wife’s friend who won 100K on 1 contest which was written by Mai earlier. Thanks Eny and husband!!

Not much pictures that I can snap. We enjoy the food very much until we forgot to snap the main dishes that day, stem lamb. Furthermore I feel weird to snap more pictures on the lunch which is treated by my wife’s friend.

Al-Marjan serve Lebanese and Persian food only, so do not expect there will be seafood. What we notice about this food is, most of the food cooked with tomato and the taste is slightly sour but tasteful. This restaurant located in 4th flour Suria KLCC. The pictures quality is bad. Maybe it is time to change to the new camera. Enjoy!!

Imagine a World Without Apple, Bloggers, Google or Dell

Sit tight, click the youtube play button and sing the song using below lyric. Enjoy!!

Imagine (sung to the tune of John Lennon’s “Imagine”)

Imagine there’s no Apple,
No products that begin with “i,”
No monthly
iPod models,
No Apple stores to get you high.
Imagine all the people

Finding other things to do!

Imagine there’s no bloggers…
It isn’t hard to do!
No viruses or
spyware,
No weekly Windows patches, too

Imagine all the people

Learning to get a life…

(You-hoo-hoo!)

You may say it’d be a nightmare
Without Google, Mac or Dell
We
might have real conversations–
But the world would be dull as hell!

Imagine no new cellphones;
Kiss console games goodbye.
No David Pogue
or Mossberg
To tell us what to buy.
Imagine all the people
Getting
some exercise!

(You-hoo-hoo!)

You may say that I’m a loony
But rest assured I’m almost
done.
I’m pretty sure it’ll never happen
So we nerds can live as one!

the statistic tells it all

I’m very pleased when I see my stat today. Thank you everyone for ‘supplying’ me with traffic. Hopefully, this is a good start for blogjer in 2008. And even though it’s not much, far behind compared to most of you blogjer’s readers, I’m very grateful to have friends and readers like you all to ‘support’ this blog indirectly. I’m also grateful to be able to post quite regularly until now, its not easy though..

Actually, I would like to announce something today, something good, but I was stuck with a couple of high severity issues in my office.

And by the time I got home, I feel very tired, so I decided to write about it tomorrow. Blogging on a part time basis is not easy (zaki of zakiyamani must be agreeing with me), especially if you’re working on real time production issues such as plant, data center, database, apps and etc. (and other jobs as well)

But I’m trying my best to make myself available to write about anything everyday. Who knows, I might be one of pro bloggers in future icon wink the statistic tells it all

Weekend at Dorsett Penang & Putrajaya

What a wonderful weekend I have had this week. First, I went to Penang and really did enjoy the activities that my colleagues have planned. I enjoyed every single one of them, plus the variety of foods I’ve had all along.

This also marks my new hobby, taking pictures on whatever event that I joined, to be included in my blog. This is part of my add on blogging ideas that I’d posted before.

Lunch at Dorsett
We had our lunch at Dorsett Hotel. The buffet costs RM36 net if I’m not mistaken, but since we came in a group, we got 20% discount, wonderful. The buffet has around 60 type of dishes, including salad and vegetables. Overall, we’re satisfied with the food, and everyone went back with full stomach of food.

Putrajaya
My parents came to KL to visit us. So I brought them to Cyberjaya and Putrajaya where we have had a brief photo session and sembang2 near the Putrajaya lake, the Prime Minister office and Putrajaya Mosque. I have to say that I’m happy with their visit after persuading them to visit us ever since we moved here from Penang about 2 months ago.
