If you’re desperately trying to earn money from internet, you should know or ever heard about Adsense before this. Me too!! Google Adsense has served me well since I jump over it few months ago. So good, and it help me pay some of my mortgage and car loan.
Well, like other internet newbie like me who just started using Adsense, you will rush copying Adsense code into your website or blog, with hopes that you will earn from it from the very first day your website goes live. You can do that, but I won’t recommend you to do so.
If you already have few website earning consistently from Adsense, you might need to think it twice. Have you heard about Smart Pricing before? If not, please read it here from Google. Borrowing sentence from Digital Inspiration
Basically, if you are a Google Adsense publisher running a network of sites, one low-performing website could cause Google to lower the ad prices (EPC) of all sites in your account.
I have 2 websites which generate income consistently until I create few others several months ago. After the website goes live about 2 month, I start installing Adsense code and barely 2 weeks after, I can feel that ‘Smart Pricing’ has effecting my revenue by almost half. What the heck?? I’m aware of Smart Pricing, but don’t think that it will affecting my account since that site has been live for almost 2 months event though the traffic is still low. I’m in process of removing Adsense from there and hopefully my earning will back to normal.
If you noticed, I have been trying to monetize this blog with Adsense as well, but I have removed the code and thinking of putting it back maybe after this blog receive steady traffic from search engine or have at least PR 2 or 3 . Having this experient made me thinking back what have I read before from several internet marketers, who own hundred website monetized using Google Adsense. Do they experience the same thing too? Or they just bluff about this in order to sell their ebook? I believe Google is brilliant enough to trace the same publisher ID exist in thousands different website, right?
At the same time, early last month, Google has started closing Adsense account which related to Adsense arbitrage as well as who own made for Adsense website. Be careful of what you’re doing, or otherwise you can say good bye to Google Adsense.
By the way, I’m enclosing a screenshot of my Adsense earning. Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not showing this off, but to inspire you that part time blogger with very limited time to online per day be able to earn from internet as well. As long as you works toward it, there is nothing impossible. Keep it it up!!
