adsense in Malaysia and adsense in me

reorg adsense in Malaysia and adsense in me

Well, I stumbled upon something interesting about adsense in Malaysia. Malaysia has the most query of ‘Adsense’ in the world. Amazing? Don’t believe it? Please, believe it. Yes it’s true. Does it do any good to us? Probably. Google Trend shows that Malaysia sits on top of the chart followed by Indonesia. Looks like our neighboring countries (including Thailand, and Singapore as a city) is following our trend closely. Ermm, where is US and European countries? Probably, they already expert in this field, thus lesser inquiry from them.

It can’t be denied that the simplest and easiest way to start earning from internet is via Google Adsense. Yes, it is very simple. Signup with google adsense —> create blogspot account —> install Adsense code —> get free articles from article directory/PLR articles —> post it to your blogspot blog. There you go, you have finished building one blog. I myself can do it in less that 30 minutes, including setting up the blog complete with RSS, contact form, templates, some header and etc. But the question remain here is, how much can you earn from this?

I have Adsense account for about a year (but not that active up until recently). But I admit that my knowledge is not that good. Admitting my weakness, I browse over local blog/websites/forum and I found few bloggers who earn thousands from there. One of them is Naem from diariadsense.com .He started with adsense using ebook from rajaadsense.com (King of Adsense) and now he earn more than 2k per month. Amazing isn’t it. He started later than me, but I’m stuck with my current earning, the highest that I earn recently is 1/3 from his earning.

Something wrong with my system. Yes. There are few things that I need to fix. I need to reorganized my IM. One of them that I notice visibly is, this income mainly come from 2 websites only (excluding this blog) whereas the rest of top Adsense earner has more than 2 (at least) websites. Another thing is that they use many ways to get traffic (another hole), paid or free and they’re not hesitate to spend money on new knowledge.

As usual, I would like to end this post with summary

1. Don’t hesitate in spending your penny to acquire new knowledge
2. Be in network or society. I like what Raymond(my loyal commentator said). Get top 10 blogs that you like, and comment any post made by them. Automatically, you’ll be recognized by them as their friends and loyal visitors.

Life without Google Adsense

google adsense Life without Google Adsense

You might have read e-book called TheDeathofAdsense by Scott Boulch before and subsequently LifeAfterAdsense later on. I’m one of them as well but how many of you(including me) who were reading the book is practicing what was highlighted by Scott and become successful? The report is still available here if you’re interested. Frankly speaking, I have read the e-book, practice it a little bit but with no success. I think, I should work harder to achieve greater results as additional income for me in future

To avoid confusion here, the report does not tell you that Adsense is totally dead, but the changes made by Google on August 2006 about some changes made by Google has dramatically cut the revenue for almost Adsense publisher. I haven’t started publishing Adsense on that time, so I can’t really see, how this changes really affecting their revenue.

Google has a great history and Google Adsense which started back to 2003 is part of it. I relied heavily to Google Adsense as a part time income for me, so have you ever think what will happen if Adsense really dead? Sound creepy right. Lets look what are the possible outcome.

1. No Google Adwork – This where Google Adsense ads came from. Advertisers will create the advertisement here, how much their ads worth and what keyword they are targeting at. However not all ads from Google Adwork published using Adsense program, it does appear on search engine result, and other Google services

2. No Google arbritage – Google Arbritage is where advertiser create low price ads with which will bring visitors to their highly monetized pages which in return, earn you more than what they have spent.

3. No Google Adsense ebook, guidance, tips (and no Joel Comm??) – Google Adsense is very profitable, not only the program itself, but also how the successful adsense advertiser manipulate their success in Adsense. Most of them are racing to create e-book and tips telling their tips and success and selling it on internet. One of the most popular Adsense e-book seller is Joel Comm, who earn thousands from Adsense and maybe more from his Adsense e-book.

4. Internet industry booming is over. After dot com era end around 1999, Google Adsense has fuel up the emergence of thousands website since than. The end of Adsense could mean the end of this websites as well, which resulting the end of dot com era once again

5. No made-for-adsense-website or Adsense-ready-template. As the name said, this is where the website is made solely for Adsense. Normally this type of website is ready-made, which means it has been optimized for Adsense which included the ads location, ads type and etc by the seller and the buyer has only to key in their publisher id

6. When Adsense dead, that means, it is no longer profitable to Google, thus closed by them. This also means Google was in trouble as well since Adsense and Adworks is one of the largest profit contributor to them other than their main product, search engine itself.

7. Existence of larger and profitable ads program. This is the consequence of above possible. But at the moment this seems not exist. The nearest competitor, YPN and MSN ContentAds has a long way to catch up with Google’s program

8. I lost extra income – As at now, Google Adsense representing almost 90% or my internet income. I have tried several type of advertisement with no success like Adsense.

Well, this is only some of things that appear on my head recently. Personally I hope this program will last forever with continuous enhancement from Google that will make this program better.

Google Adsense is unpredictable

If you’re desperately trying to earn money from internet, you should know or ever heard about Adsense before this. Me too!! Google Adsense has served me well since I jump over it few months ago. So good, and it help me pay some of my mortgage and car loan. icon smile Google Adsense is unpredictable

Well, like other internet newbie like me who just started using Adsense, you will rush copying Adsense code into your website or blog, with hopes that you will earn from it from the very first day your website goes live. You can do that, but I won’t recommend you to do so.

If you already have few website earning consistently from Adsense, you might need to think it twice. Have you heard about Smart Pricing before? If not, please read it here from Google. Borrowing sentence from Digital Inspiration

Basically, if you are a Google Adsense publisher running a network of sites, one low-performing website could cause Google to lower the ad prices (EPC) of all sites in your account.

I have 2 websites which generate income consistently until I create few others several months ago. After the website goes live about 2 month, I start installing Adsense code and barely 2 weeks after, I can feel that ‘Smart Pricing’ has effecting my revenue by almost half. What the heck?? I’m aware of Smart Pricing, but don’t think that it will affecting my account since that site has been live for almost 2 months event though the traffic is still low. I’m in process of removing Adsense from there and hopefully my earning will back to normal.

If you noticed, I have been trying to monetize this blog with Adsense as well, but I have removed the code and thinking of putting it back maybe after this blog receive steady traffic from search engine or have at least PR 2 or 3 . Having this experient made me thinking back what have I read before from several internet marketers, who own hundred website monetized using Google Adsense. Do they experience the same thing too? Or they just bluff about this in order to sell their ebook? I believe Google is brilliant enough to trace the same publisher ID exist in thousands different website, right?

At the same time, early last month, Google has started closing Adsense account which related to Adsense arbitrage as well as who own made for Adsense website. Be careful of what you’re doing, or otherwise you can say good bye to Google Adsense.

By the way, I’m enclosing a screenshot of my Adsense earning. Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not showing this off, but to inspire you that part time blogger with very limited time to online per day be able to earn from internet as well. As long as you works toward it, there is nothing impossible. Keep it it up!!
