Gmail update ‘Mark as unread’ feature for threaded emails

If you’re Gmail user, you probably familiar with the situation where an email conversation to many recipients turns to long conversation, with tonnes of replies from them. At the end of the day,  you lost track of which emails has been read, and which isn’t.

What happen now is, opening long thread email will marked the whole emails in that thread as being read, automatically.  Same goes to the marking email as unread, where the whole emails in the thread, marked as unread.

To fix this,  Gmail introduce small update that, if you marked email as unread on any email thread, only that email will be marked as unread, instead of the whole email thread.

Now, you don’t have to worry of overlook any new emails and and at the same time, be able to manage your emails more effective way.
