HTC HD7 Is Almost Here, Almost..

5189268181 c6f3ba04d3 HTC HD7 Is Almost Here, Almost..

The registration for the first Windows Phone 7 smartphone to be available here, HTC HD7 is already ended. As usual, it is again Maxis that gonna offer this smartphone here.  It was first opened last week, and surprisingly ended earlier than expected for the smartphone that is targeted to revive Microsoft’s mobile service . There are only 2 possible reason.

It is either the smartphone has received overwhelming respond and Maxis can’t keeping up with the demand (which is good), or the other way round, or weak demand. I have stronger feeling for the later to be the reason behind that.

It is boiled down to the treatment that we received from the hardware vendor. Unless you lived in the US, being the early adopter of any technology is not necessarily good. Talking about experience,  how many of you remember how Android smartphone shipped here is without Android Market? It suck right? User have to root to install custom ROM in order to enjoy the Market.

And from what I’ve heard (and read), HTC HD7 is going to have the same fate, the Marketplace won’t be available in the HTC HD7 shipped here, so it is gonna be another frustration for the early buyers.

Why the application store is what  matter most nowadays?? It is simple;  hardware alone can’t keep you stick with the phone without additional functionality you got out of the phone.  In another word, you’ll get  bored with the hardware, but it is software that make your day, right? Windows Phone 7 has got some pretty okey review from the blogsphere, but please, bring along everything else that you offer somewhere else here as well.
