Western Digital has unveiled the 4th Generation of WD Caviar green hard drives recently. The ‘green’ hard drives is offering lower power consumption but still with the mammoth storage size at 1.5TB and 2TB. Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the WD Caviar Green 2 TB (model WD20EARS) is RM 399 and the 1.5 TB (WD15EARS) is RM 319. More on that is available via press release below.

The new WD Caviar Green 2 TB offers lower power consumption than the 2 TB drives currently available in the market.
