I’ve almost forgotten about Digi Mifi that I post last month, and apparently it already on sale since couple of weeks ago but tell you what, it ain’t cheap. Well, the device itself is RM360, but with only 1 package available, explore 16 which give you 16GB worth of data and RM158 monthly commitment (first 12 months RM128 monthly), I think many will take a second thought. Why? For me, Mifi is just another complementary broadband package, the portable broadband that you’ll bring outdoor for the purpose of usage by more than one people, and not as your primary broadband (I still trust wired broadband more than wireless).

Furthermore, if it just you that going to use it outdoor, it’s better stick to USB modem or tethering from your smartphone. So IMHO, there should be other lower priced package to cater the category of usage as I mention above. Apart from that ,Mifi is also relatively new technology in this part of the world, which gain the popularity with the raise of device such as iPod and iPad.
