Hitachi Data Systems to Deliver FalconStor’s VTL and Deduplication Solutions

Integrated with Hitachi Adaptable Modular Storage 2000 Family

Kuala Lumpur, June 22, 2010 – FalconStor Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: FALC), the provider of TOTALLY Open™ data protection solutions, today announced that FalconStor has entered into a limited procurement agreement with Hitachi Data Systems. Under the terms of the agreement, Hitachi Data Systems will resell FalconStor^® Virtual Tape Library (VTL) with deduplication and FalconStor^® File-interface Deduplication System (FDS) integrated with the Hitachi Adaptable Modular Storage 2000 family on a limited basis.

This arrangement between Hitachi Data Systems and FalconStor Software enables the combination of industry-leading high-performance storage arrays with the world’s number one VTL/deduplication system and the industry’s first LAN-based deduplication system with high availability.
