Blackberry Bold 9700 Now Available At Celcom & Maxis
If you have been waiting impatiently for the new Blackberry Bold 9700 to land in Malaysia, smile… because the waiting is over. The new Blackberry Bold 9700 is now officially here, via Celcom and Maxis.
Celcom is going to have Celcom Blackberry Party (Celcom love party!) at La Bodega, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on 15 Jan 2010 to introduce this device. If you can’t find the reason why you need to be there, here it is.
Celcom is giving 50% discount for the first 150 customers, which I’m sure will be sold like a hotcake. FYI, Celcom RRP is at RM1988, meaning that you only pay RM988 to get hold of this beauty. Be sure to read more about it here, as the device comes with data & voice/sms plan, as well as advance payment.
As for Maxis, I’m not sure when it is going to hit the store, but you can start to pre-book the device from their signup page. No price, plan, advance payment is available at the moment, except RRP at RM2099. No special offer except that, the first 300 customers will bring home free Jabra Stone Bluetooth headset.
However, I’m positive that Maxis has launched (probably internally or invite only party) this Blackbery Bold 9700 together with the new Blackberry Storm based on the the party photos that you can search in Facebook.

@Azmi – if your life centered around Klang Valley, go ahead with DG (cheaper) or Celcom (litte bit expensive). But even in Klang Valley, DG 3G is limited (i know becoz I used smartplan), Celcom in my experience has very strong signal ( I used Celcom 3G plan as well, from the company I work) But if you live outside ok Klang Valley or frequent traveler, go for Celcom
