Some says this is netbook, and some other says this is notebook due to it’s size and what power it from Inside. I would rather call it notebook though because of it’s 12 inch display. Anything larger than 12 inch is notebook I reckon.
Pavilion DV2 is powered by Athlon X2 Neo, equivalent to Intel Core 2 Sole if I’m not mistaken. The power might be slightly more, but weak on multitasking. It is slightly warmer too when it run continuously for a long time. I still wonder why AMD still not overcome this issue though.
But I admire it not because of it’s powers nor the fact that it is the best laptop on CES 2009. But the design, glossy covers, thin factor and weight that really please me off. This is going to replace Mini 10 , which I deemed to slow for my average task.

Dell, a brand very synonym with affordable PC has confirmed their entrance into the smartphone market. It’s Dell Mini 3, if you wondering what would the first smartphone from Dell be called.
Dell is partnering with various carriers to market their smartphone. What’s more interesting is, on the press release, Maxis is listed as among the earliest carriers that going to sell this phone.
In addition Dell has existing agreements with other leading global telecom providers, including Vodafone in Europe; Australia/New Zealand, AT&T and Verizon in the U.S.; M1 and Starhub in Singapore; and Maxis in Malaysia, creating more opportunities to meet the needs of a connected lifestyle.
Given Maxis position as the leading carriers in the local market, it’s obvious why Maxis is the primary target. But it’s too early to predict how Dell Mini 3 will be performing, and how it will help Maxis to further strengthen it’s position.
Dell Mini 3 will run on Google Android (hopefully 2.0), and although no spec has been released, here is what I found from BGR.

Unlike other telcos that aggressively (and excessively sometime) promoting their products, you can’t hardly seen Amax Wimax booth on crowded place such as shopping complex. Their limited but constantly expanding coverage seems to justify their presence so far.
It’s like seeing something unusual, I took out my camera phone spontaneously and snap Amax Wimax booth, upon seeing them at Giant Kinrara recently. In fact that is the first time I spot their booth.. (am I alone here??) I didn’t go nearer though, as my needs on wireless broadband is pretty much fulfilled right now.
Bandar Kinrara is apparently now one of areas under Amax Wimax coverage. That’s answer why they’re there now, and I guess we’ll be seeing them in other shopping complex nearby as well.. maybe soon?
Amax Wimax is pretty much low profile Wimax players based on their appearance and presence today. I can tell you that even some of my friends know Amax, but unsure what this company is doing ( they can guess from the ‘Max’ on the company name that this is Wimax operator though).
If you want to give Amax Wimax a try, Google it first, to have an idea what other people are talking about it first.
Bookmark sync for Chrome browser is all you need to synchronize your bookmark across multiple computers. It is so cool that I have installed it on every machines that I own.
It makes your life easier, switching from one computer to another without hassle of exporting and importing bookmarks to multiple computers.

Follow these steps to start sync.
To sync your bookmarks, follow these steps on each computer that you’ll be using to access your bookmarks:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click the wrench menu

- Select Synchronize my bookmarks.
- Sign in to your Google Account in the dialog that appears.
- If you’ve already enabled the sync feature on another computer, you’ll see a prompt asking you to confirm that your different sets of bookmarks should be merged together. Click Merge and sync to finish the syncing process.
- Click OK.
You can enable sync on as many computers as you’d like.
Once everything in place, you’re ready to go.
You can stop and resume the bookmarks sync anytime you want. But I prefer to have ‘Sync now‘ features, so that the bookmark will appear immediately on Chrome browser on other computers.
