Maxis drop Blackberry Curve 8520 price to RM488 for Hotlink
Maxis has sweetened their Blackberry Curve with prepaid package after being out-shined by Celcom which ofer better deal. Well, not long, because Maxis strike back now.
From 6 November until 31 December, you can get Blackberry Curve 8520 at RM488, but you must subscribe to Maxis BIS premium at RM98 for 6 month. In total, you only pay RM1076, and you have full BIS service for 6 months. I’m not sure what happens after 6 months, and if you’re free from any contract with Maxis.

This is so interesting. I was so tempted to get the Celcom one when they were selling it at RM888 a few weeks ago.
Now that Maxis is offering an even better deal, I am once again as tempted as ever. Might just drop by the Maxis store over the weekend.
Can u believe it???!!! I’ve just called MAXIS today and inquiry about their BB Prepaid plan and they said the promotion has been kept on hold until further notice. WTF. This just insane….. seriously~!

Yaa Maxis did the right thing for not putting the offer on hold. There were lots of complaint about their “too good to be true” ads before. Seems that they running out of ideas to compete with other telcos in terms of offering better packages..

As for me… I would say u might as well get the deal from Celcom instead. No upfront payment or whatnot, no hidden charges.

With Maxis current promotion, they have slight advantage over Celcom. I’m expecting some action from Celcom.. but none so far.. Price war is good, but early buyers will pissed off..
Maxis RM98 comes with WAP, while Celcom’s RM2.50 per day is not. Yeah, for peace of mind, I’ll still suggest Xpax.. for better deal, Go Maxis.. till this Dec
