You might have seen some warning ‘this site may harm you‘ such as this one on the search result page, when you performing search in search engines. When you click the link with harmful message, another warning will be displayed, details the possible treat to your computer. Visitors absolutely stay away from this kind of websites, resulting decrease in visitors and earning.
As a webmaster, this is nightmare. Even worst if the webmaster not even aware that their website is infected by harmful malware.
When Google Webmaster came with it’s own lab feature, one of the first lab feature introduced is Malware Details. Malware Details will tell you which pages are infected with malware in detail including type of treat and the URL, or if it is clean from any treat, you’ll get the result as mine above.
The easiest way to know if your websites are effected or not, is by performing search using your website name as the key phrase by your own, but I doubt many of you do that often, including me.
I found this tool very handy because I logged more often to the Google Webmaster Central monitoring my websites rather than perform search on the search engines. You’ll get to know any issue happen to your websites, before being informed by someone else, or when you already start losing money.
Apple on Tuesday announce an update on the entry level Macbook. The biggest improvement is on the physical look, now with unibody enclosure, similar with what can be found on the aluminum Macbook Pro. The update also incorporate LED-backlit display, Glass Multi-Touch trackpad and the new battery which lasted about 7 hours.
The price dropped to RM3599, from RM3699 on the previous model, an RM100 difference, quite steep discount considered that it is now equipped with better spec. The standard configuration comes with 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB DDR3 memory and 250GB hard drive (improvement from 160 GB on previous model).
It comes preloaded with Apple’s latest OS, Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Of all screen capture applications for Blackberry that I had tried, CaptureIT is simply the best. Why? It’s closed to what iPhone had offered in term of simplicity and easy to use , except that I have to install the an application in Blackberry before it can be used.
As most iPhone users already know, by holding the ‘home’ button followed by ‘Power/Sleep’ button in iPhone, the screen shot of the current screen will be captured and saved it into the Photos menu. From there, there are few options to transfer the file including email.
CaptureIT work exactly the same way. But it is one step better in the sense that the beside email, photos can be send to Facebook, Twitter and Flickr directly, provided that those application installed prior that .
Talk to why certain screen capture apps is failed to impress is, it require extra work to get it work. And then you have to connect your Blackberry device to computer in order to copy it somewhere else, which is way to old in the year 2009.
So Blackberry users, read the steps by steps guide if you still looking for screen capture tool for your hand held device. You’ll like it.
Same screen shot samples taken on BB Curve 8520.

Meet the new Android based smartphone from Motorola, Motorola Droid. The phone which is an instant hit news among tech blogs, is collaboration between Motorola , Verizon Wireless and Google that run the operating system (OS) of phone via Android 2.0. Yeah, you read it right, this is the first smartphone run Android 2.0.
Physically, the design itself is taking cue from the most popular smartphone on the market right now (almost all smartphones does) . It got extra huge screen, touch screen, high resolution screen but Droid is equipped with QWERTY keypad which can be slide in and out beneath the phone.
Certain quarter arguing, that this is the what the other smartphones are missing, and it seems that I’m quite agree with that, personally.
Heads on to BGR for hands on review and more photos. Its look awesome at the glance. But until this smartphone hit the street, I’m not dare to say this phone gonna be killed other smartphone in the market. It tend to fail in the past.. often.
I’m looking for application that allow me to view the iPhone’s file structure and manipulating the files, when I come across with iPhoneBrowser. I have problem locating videos that I record using Cycoder in my iPhone 2G. iTunes and Windows Explorer does not shows where these files were saved, so iPhoneBrowser is very handy in this situation.
It is free application that you can use to view and manipulating files inside iPhone. Imagine that, it is like Windows Explorer, but for iPhone. You can drag and drop the files from and into your iPhone, backup , manage and restore files in your iPhone as well as preview the file. More detail about each feature can be viewed here.
iPhoneBrowser’s user interface is typical to any file browser. The tree structure is placed on the left side, and the content on the right side of the app. Notice the status of iPhone, eg: ‘Iphone is connected and Jailbreak‘ at the bottom left of the screen? Yeah, that indicate if iPhone is connected properly and the current status.
The simplicity does not overshadow the usefulness of this app. A must have application for iPhone user who interested to get to know inside their device.
p/s : If you’re looking for more advanced application, a friend of mine recommend DiskAid. It is free for the first 14days, but you have to pay $9.99 to use it further.
