Apple updates Macbook, drop price

Apple on Tuesday announce an update on the entry level Macbook. The biggest improvement is on the physical look, now with unibody enclosure, similar with what can be found on the aluminum Macbook Pro. The update also incorporate LED-backlit display, Glass Multi-Touch trackpad and the new battery which lasted about 7 hours.
The price dropped to RM3599, from RM3699 on the previous model, an RM100 difference, quite steep discount considered that it is now equipped with better spec. The standard configuration comes with 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB DDR3 memory and 250GB hard drive (improvement from 160 GB on previous model).
It comes preloaded with Apple’s latest OS, Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

Hello from Russia!
Can I quote a post in your blog with the link to you?
@Polprav, yes you can
The new macbook design is nicer than the old one, but still it doesn’t have firewire port which make new macbookpro 13″ is much better, even they got the nearly same tech specs now.
Is it possible to upgrade the 2GB DDR3 Memory to 4GB. And is it possible for the hard drive to be increase to 500GB. I’ve checked their official website it seems they offer the following services. But does Malaysia include these services? =D
