Microsoft update Windows Live mobile for web and Windows Mobile OS

Not to be outshine with Yahoo who just released the new Yahoo Mobile, Microsoft
apparently has similar thing to offer with the update of its own Windows Live Mobile.
Windows Live mobile service bring its Windows Live services such as Mail, Photos, Messenger, Spaces into mobile devices. The services are available as web version as well as the client version for smartphone running on Windows Mobile OS. No version for iPhone app available.
On my testing with Windows Live Mobile web version run on Safari(iPhone) , the Mobile Mail@Hotmail unable to be opened properly, with only unknown characters on the screen. That is quite frustrating to me as that’s one of the core application in Windows Live.
The Windows Live Mobile front page/People shows the personal message that you set, as well as your friends messages. It is Facebook alike for that new to Windows Live. That message can be changed from that screen. On the Photos section , which display the photos of you friends, is shown properly as well.
Live Messenger can be opened, but the character shown is too small. Anyway,it still useful if you want to chat with friends via mobile phone.
If you own and run it on Window Mobile phone, I believe all these services can be opened and works better there, as Microsoft services tend to run properly on it own platform and not on the others. The client version also should be better than the web version.
Some screen shot of Windows Live Mobile web version.

Seriously it was about time. Isn’t Microsoft supposed to be at the forefront of computer technology???
