It’s white but it is not an Apple iMac. This is the Dell latest entrance on all in one (AIO) desktop called Studio One 19. Still, it looks sexy on certain angles . Beside white (Solid Pure White to be exact) there are other colors including Tuscan Red, Navy Blue, Powder Pink and Charcoal.

Studio One 19 is being marketed as computer for lifestyle as well as on the ‘kitchen’. If I have one, kitchen is the last place I’ll consider to put this kind of machine. Probably not suitable for local lifestyle..

Cool thing is, this desktop is multi-touch capable screen (optional, meaning more $$), so you can expect it to work like iPhone and perhaps even better. Under the hood, it has quite impressive spec including Quad Core processor, huge hard disk and ram.

Power & performance (via press release):

  • Intel® Celeron, Dual Core Celeron, Pentium Dual Core, Core 2 Duo, and Core 2 Quad Core Processor options
  • Choice of nVidia GeForce 9200 or GeForce 9400 integrated graphics[i]
  • Up to 4GB[ii] dual channel memory
  • Up to 750GB[iii] HDD
  • Slot load Optical drive
  • 7-in-1 media card reader, six USB ports
  • Optional integrated wireless, web camera, Blu-ray Discâ„¢
  • Optional multi-touch capability
  • Optional facial recognition security (with webcam)

Unlike other Dell machines that used to be available in the US before other part of the world, Dell Studio One will available at selected Japan retail store on March 19th. Eyeing NEC powermate (far more elegant) market perhaps? Price starting at $699.

  1. azwan says:

not bad, looks like white is not reserved for apple alone.

  2. I’ve noticed that other phones, like the blackberry storm, and other phone don’t react to to a non-conductive item, like a stylus, just like the Iphone. To me that says that apple doesn’t own the patent for the type of touch screen, just multi-touch.
