The ‘problem’ with having so much photos is, how to enjoy the photo offline without so much hassle as well as sharing it with friends and relatives. There are social sites such as Facebook and Flickr, but not everyone are connected to internet. Printing it out might be a good idea, but it is not so cost effective if you have lots of them.
That’s how I come across with digital photo frame. It is not a new innovation, but it become relevant to me recently after my photos piling up. I was thinking the same way like most people probably in the past, what the heck digital frame is, and why you need it when you can upload it to Facebook, Flickr or anywhere else that everyone can view it? I just don’t see the key point ‘convenient’ at that time
I’m not sure who first invent this device, although it looks like Kodak has wide range of product under its brand. I set my sight to it , but it doesn’t come cheap. Another thing to consider is, the product availability on the market. Over to Lelong, only 1 Kodak model available.
In Lowyat.net, you choose from the no brand digital frame priced at RM250 to branded digital frame such as Sony , AVLabs, Philips and Transcend. At the end of the day, it depend on you pocket to decide.
I read these tips to assist me finding the best and value for money digital frame. Which one…Ii don’t know yet.
Inside The Star newspaper today, there is a full page ads that I think is very ‘relevant’ to all citizens. It is not a cheap ads , only who has deep pocket can do this. But the real cream is on the ads itself. The plea to our politician to stop the ‘never ending fight’ which is blended with multi racial real life story going on in their office.
You can call it looking for cheap publicity(for Zubedy) or whatever you like. But kudos to Zubedy. In case you miss it, you can read it below or the original post here.

Beside adding and enhancing its basic features, 2 major enhancement on Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer is the Chrome’s new tab page style, and Quick Search Box. While most people quite familiar with the new tab page style, but how many of you heard about Quick Search Box before?
Quick Search Box or QSB is the shortcut to open Google search box, outside of internet browser. If you take a look at it, which is placed just beside the Windows start button, you can guess that it was aimed squarely to Live Search which by default powering Internet Explorer search box. Google Toolbar for Firefox doesn’t have this feature, because of one reason… the default search engine is already powered by Google…
QSB does not limited for only perform search, it can open small applications such as notepad and solitaire as well. It works like the ‘run‘ command on Windows start menu, but the number of applications it can opened this way is limited such as, it can’t open Microsoft Office application using key phrase such as ‘winword’.
With all these features including Windows start menu looks alike button, does this sign that one day Google will come out with its own operating system?
It is far from beautiful online games. But Monster Milk Truck is special because it is the first game created for Google Earth Plugin. Expect a ‘smooth drive’ on your way delivering milks. It can even going through any building ahead of you.
Bored with default location? Teleport yourself to any part of the world, but most location has the infrastructure such as building being flatten.
It is now also works on Google Chrome via Google Earth API. Happy driving..
The Gmail’s influence to internet users ‘help’ spreading its own outage news everywhere. Of course it 
appear on Techmeme too, the place where I first learned about the outage.
Fortunately for me and probably most Gmail users on other countries beside US and UK, Gmail stay online and available. Online and available means, Gmail URL is accessible and you can send and receive email as usual.
The outage issue seems to be sporadic and variety. Certain users affected cannot even open the Gmail URL, while other users can open Gmail, but unable to send or receive email. Even Gmail’s IMAP service is reported working as usual. At this point of time, the root cause still under investigation as pointed out on Gmail blog.
While Gmail outage has tarnished its reputation, at least there is something positive behind it. The real savior here is the newly launched Offline Gmail, which allow users to least read recent emails. It passed the first critical test today!!
Moral of the story? Regardless how great something is, as long as it is human invention, it is far from perfect. It will break one day.
But most importantly, don’t forget to keep the copy of your emails somewhere else especially if it is work related. There are many option out there to choose from. Use email client such as Thunderbird, Outlook, online storage, or simply utilize Offline Gmail.
