Monitor Google Apps health via Google Dashboard
Don’t panic if Gmail or other Google Apps are inaccessible or down. Just head to Google Dashboard. Introduced after the recent Gmail outage, Google Dashboard shows the ‘health’ condition of Google Apps and its current status.
Other alternatives to consider in order to stay updated with Google Apps status are by subscribing Google Apps email alert or its RSS and Google Apps forum.
