Acer DX900 – Acer’s first smartphone

So this is the first Smartphone from Acer. It run Windows Mobile (no Android ok) platform, and powered by Samsung S3C 6400 533 MHz Processor. Price starts at £395. Wanna see how the keyboard looks like. Head to boygenius.
In Malaysia and other South East Asean countries, Acer is very well known, as among the largest notebook seller. Their notebook can be found in almost computer shop even in a small town in Malaysia. Could this little phone made their presence there, taking the advantage of large distributor it has here?

That is perfect smartphone,
Acer can launch an unlocked phone and with the right sales strategy can surely make a mark in the flooding smartphone market.
I agree, i think acer can sneak in and provide a cheaper smart phone with similar specs, and steal a bit of the market share, just like they do with laptops here in the us.
No surprise as Acer is one of the biggest manufacturers, i thought they would have made it earlier.
No more acer for me because i had alot of problems in the past with their support.
Did a full review here… do check it out too!
