When I had first discovered about it, I thought the new favicon is only for Google Adsense. At that time, Google.com is still using the old favicon, but apparently, the new favicon is rolled out later. As a much sought after company, the new favicon received mixed feeling from users. Some likes it, some dislikes it and some doesn’t care at all.

If you look closely, the new Google Favicon is almost similar with font Perpetua with a little touch upperpetua Who has similar logo with googles new favicon?. Open your word editor, choose font perpetua, and you should be able to get similar font.

Google is not the only company or website using small cap ‘g’ as a logo or favicon. Check this out.

If you think the new favicon is ugly, why not send your own ideas. Googlers are great in building a system, but when it comes to logo design, it is not up to the level yet

Apart from that, be Firefox affiliate, and earn points whenever you refer someone to download Firefox. Who knows Firefox will be kind enough to offer you something as a reward when you become among the top referrers!

Official firefox 3 tshirt released

Firefox 3 Release Candidate 3 is available for download and slated for final release later of this year. Accompanying Firefox 3 browser is the tshirt which was released recently

This would be official Firefox 3 tshirt where the design was chosen from the contest that was held last March. I blog for the same contest from my tshirt blog, but I decide to blog about the official Firefox 3 tshirt in blogjer, as it have more readers

I use Firefox most of the time, and the stat telling me also that 2/5 blogjer’s readers are using Firefox as well. What made Firefox admirable? Other than traditional use of web browser to browse Internet, Firefox has more superior functionality with lots of supported plugin out there. All of this make the Firefox even better and useful as compared to IE.

With 11k bug fixes and 2 millions line of code changes on this version, it took about 27 months to develop and test it. It’s hell lot of times!! So, buy one to show your support to Firefox, and proud to be part of the community.
