Unlocked got 2 type.... one is legal and the other one is illegal... normally legal you can use all the feature even upgrade it. but illegal you can do just it and maintain the OS only.. some problem may occur during using it... i've unlock more than 10 BB already using legal way... and all BB are ok after onward.

@Dr BB - I have tried BB Torch belong to my colleague who queued for about 8 hours at Celcom's event last weeks. Quite impress with the touch screen actually, perhaps level with my Android 2.1 on HTC Magic. Enjoy your phone.

Celcom customer service really sucks.. I've applied for migration from Maxis to Celcom on 13-10-10 and still waiting. They said Maxis rejected coz my supplementary line was not included in the migration. I've stated both no's in my application submitted to Celcom Ampang and was given 2 Celcom sim cards. Celcom said they are still checking. Called customer service 7 times and got the same excuse. Frustrated. :(

@Dr Bb tq for answering question over here, I'm fine anyway, just quite lazy moderating comments posted here, it's bad I know. Still using bb but now it is ranked 3rd in the device that I love most, can't wait bb 6 to come, but i read even storm 2 is not qualified for upgrade

@hanif your CDMA tour has sim slot?

Hi ya all... sorry for the late reply, to many patient i have here. ok ok....

@Dr Jim - P28 you can get the detail from the Celcom Branch directly. its cheap.

@Aidi - your welcome... welcome to the club of Blackberry....

@Hanif - CDMA is a network structure that doesnt have in Malaysia. I heard a lot of people telling me MAxis can use CDMA (Tour) in malaysia. Thats not true. Of course you can use maxis in that bb, BUT.... the BB services are cannot be activate due to our network are different from europe. if you use it also, what you can use is call and sms.. mms always fail one. and also, call and sms are sometimes fail due to the device CDMA in malaysia. IF you really want the tour so much, try out the BB BOld 9700 , much more better than tour. what different can i make, Bold 9700 got wifi, gps,HSDPA, Email push mail, Camera 3.2 megapixel with autofocus etc. here are tips for buying the BB in malaysia. To check weather you can use it in malaysia, look at program call "Manage Connection" and "Mobile Network Option". From there, scroll down and see the Network Mode , if you see it got 3G, 2G, "3G and 2G" then this device can be use at Malaysia Telco. But if you see other than this, then that device cannot be use.
Lets see, Digi,Maxis and Celcom, Did they offer any BB Tour in their package??? NO!!... They go directly to BB Bold 9700 which is BB Onyx..
;) :)
@Admin - how are you bro?......

@Aidi – your welcome… welcome to the club of Blackberry….

@Hanif – CDMA is a network structure that doesnt have in Malaysia. I heard a lot of people telling me MAxis can use CDMA (Tour) in malaysia. Thats not true. Of course you can use maxis in that bb, BUT…. the BB services are cannot be activate due to our network are different from europe. if you use it also, what you can use is call and sms.. mms always fail one. and also, call and sms are sometimes fail due to the device CDMA in malaysia. To check weather you can use it in malaysia, look at program call “Manage Connection” and “Mobile Network Option”. From there, scroll down and see the Network Mode , if you see it got 3G, 2G, “3G and 2G” then this device can be use at Malaysia Telco. But if you see other than this, then that device cannot be use.
Lets see, Digi,Maxis and Celcom, Did they offer any BB Tour in their package??? NO!!… They go directly to BB Bold 9700 which is BB Onyx..
@Admin – how are you bro?……

Hey Guys. It has been a while after my last visit to this forum thread. I've got the reply from The Admin and DR BB but couldn't reply the messages as I was having problem with my PC (BIOS problem and it keeps on shutting and restarting my PC without warning - still hvg it but not so frequent)

I wanted to thank to both of you for both advices. I nearly bought the BB from that independent dealer bcoz of the discounted price but reconsider it after reading your advices. I am now waiting for white BB or new BB from Celcom package which will be introduced soon.

Hi Aidi, welcome back to Malaysia... lol.. ok ok.. celcom , maxis , digi.... erm.... what is you decision.... have you ever been to read at http://mytechnews.info/b/2010/06/digi-celcom-sign-mou-on-network-collaboration.html .. click and read. on the long term , i think Celcom will take over digi just what happen to last time on TM Touch. DId you ever know, there are many case where, Maxis sms to Celcom number, its delay and sometimes never reach... but when Celcom sms to Maxis, it arrive short after. ..... do you ever imagine what kind of network that they had.. and how many people are using it... look at the coverage.. and now digi is riding on Celcom Tower to get the better radius...

and friend.. Lelong.com .. what a great place to hang out... for what they are selling in it, you better look before buy.. the set that they are selling are all from oversea set.. and it is a legal one... dont worry coz all BB cannot be copycat 100% such as nokia and iphone. BB software was special enough to protect your data and file. its was design to it top security. (p/s Obama is using Blackberry now)... and at lelong, its genuine.. but beware of the word "Look A-like".... hehehehe. you know what i mean.. i been in lelong.com since 2002. since then i know how it work and which is honest seller.

Than back to topic... Celcom Maxis Digi... ermm... i still stick to Celcom though... Maxis not that good when goes to some area out of town.. (dead 3G/2G).. Digi only great in centre town..... but..... for 2nd line, yes you can get it for backup..

Celcom got new package.. Minimum Rm28 per month postpaid..... they called it P28.
:) :0 :)

@Aidi - I used Celcom and Digi but I never had any SMS missing issue before. The problem with getting BB not from the telco provider is that, you can't get 1 on 1 exchange if your phone is faulty, as only telco is the only authorized reseller for BB. I alway stay away from other AP set for blackberry service due to that concern.
