Stumble upon this when my adsense earning drop almost 60% this week, but I’m not sure if this is due to the known issue reported earlier or not, but it really make me a bit frustrated.
Well, I started checking my site’s indexed page and link when I found that one of my website is listed on SEOMoz’s Juicy Link Finder under certain keyword that I can’t tell . This tool is for premium members usage only, thus I can’t run any query using other keyword.
I’m not sure , juicy link finder’s search result should viewable by public ( I don’t see it blocked from being indexed on robots.txt or the meta tag) but Google has indexed this page, perhaps when one of the member doing search and then ‘share’ (see the screenshot) this report with others. I tried Googling other ‘Juicy Link’ with other keyword (plus operator and wildcard) with no luck.
If this is truly juicy link, this at least provide little joy to me, while I still figure it out the problem with my adsense. How about your adsense earning? Do you see any drop???
Btw, refine your search using this operators. You’ll enjoy the outcome
Finally, Kontera released their own Kontera wordpress plugin for publisher to display their ‘content link ads‘ . At a glance, it looks better than previous plugin that I used, with more control on how the ads looks like and where you want it to appear, which can be setup directly from control panel.
This is good news if you’re doing Pay Per Post and other sponsored review which not allowing other text link ads to appear within the post. This feature actually also available on previous plugin, but you have to open up each post and choose No on Display Kontera ads dropdown menu

Among the features of this plugin
- Add the ContentLink™ tag to all your pages in one click
- Block ContentLink ads from appearing on particular posts or categories
- Determine when Contentlink™ ads will begin appearing on new posts
- Block ContentLinks™ from comments
- Change ContentLinks color
If you’re Kontera publisher, install it now to take the advantage of new plugin’s features pack. Have yet to open up and account? Sign up now!

I’m currently on Facebook mood, so you might see Facebook related posts for the next couple of days in a row.
Luckily I now can open Facebook in my office. Otherwise this Facebook Dashboard Widget plugin would come in handy to view what your Facebook’s friends are doing
Basically it display the RSS feed of your friend’s notification, status update and posted items and display it on your WordPress’s dashboard.
You can copy and paste the feed links to your RSS reader as well to view the similar items, but this plugin is intended so you can view everything in one places (especially if you spend most of your time in your blog)
Installation
1. Download the plugin
2. Unzip facebook-dashboard-widget.zip
3. Upload the entire facebook-dashboard-widget folder to your plugins directory
4. Go to the Plugins page in your WordPress Administration area and click to ‘Activate’ the Facebook Dashboard Widget.
5. Setup your plugin accordingly by following steps provided on the setup menu
Open you dashboard, and you should be able to view it such as on the screen shot below

I know everyone loves ranking, so do I. In fact, ranking is one thing that motivates me to write and blog (other than $$$). The undisputed and most sought after, is nothing else than Google PageRank. Alexa ranking comes as the second most recognized ranking to me.
It’s been 2 weeks since Alexa changed how their ranking system works. Blogjer dropped 150k rank down to 300k from around 150K initially. And I’m not alone here. Almost all major blogs and websites experienced drop in ranking as well. I believe you’re one of the ‘victim’ too.
How hard had I achieved this rank, since I gave this blog a new life starting last December, but it’s gone in a blink of an eye. I’m not blaming Alexa though, even though I feel a little bit frustrated, since the old system is inaccurate. As most of us aware of, it was calculated mostly based on the number of hit from the visitors who has Alexa toolbar installed.
Well now, is the new system trustworthy? I know, it’s still 2 weeks, and if it is judged by the UAT (user acceptance test) that is normally done on newly deployed system, 2 weeks is too short (lol, but this is free system, so no UAT). But the new system must has been in Beta prior to roll out on all websites.
On the previous system, Alexa rank was updated on weekly or bi-weekly basis (but sometimes in months). So there is the questions popped out on my head
- How frequent Alexa ranking would get updated?
- At the moment, Alexa only calculating traffic for the past 9 month. When the rest of data will be in?
- How accurate the new system would be? What is the new rank algorithm?
I can’t wait to see the next Alexa rank update. Would blogjer.com get a better rank?? I wish to achieve the rank that I have had before, the least..
