when splogs steal my contents

Thanks to Google alert and Azwan for alerting me, and Google Blog search for assisting me to search the copycat, and leading me to several blogs (splog) which has copied my RSS feed (no track back) and contents whether intentionally or unintentionally. I’m not sure what they’re thinking off, perhaps they think I will never know or they’re too newbie to be aware of this, but rest assured that I won’t sit tight and keep my mouth shut.
I guess the war against copycat or plagiarism will never stop. Lorella has posted a very detailed post on what you should do when someone steals your content. It teaches you a lot about plagiarism and what is your right to protect your own content.

Plugin, badge or widget will never stop this act, but at least the warning has been there at the very first place. I have experienced this issue, a couple of times before, but this is the first time I mention it in my post.
Do you know that occasionally the copycat page will have higher rank than the original page? And truthfully speaking, one of the SPLOGs, has high Alexa rank (44k), but luckily it has no pagerank. This is what I’m scared of, and before search engines started crawling this blog, it is better that I make a move.
Thanks to Online Tech tips which provided a list of useful plugins to combat plagiarism, on which I have implemented some of it. BIG thanks to fellow bloggers for the alert. This is what I call blog-sphere’s neighbourhood. I appreciate that very much!!
aku dapat tau aku nyer review tu pun dari spamlog tau..
Alamak, aku pulak masuk kat dlm spamlog ngko, nie dah terbalik
Hi Zaki,
Mind to share what plugin do you use?
I have had the same issue too.
I am not too sure if it will be useful. I read a blog post before and he mentioned that you can add your homepage url or your affiliate link in your open paragraph of each post. So, you can be assured that even if someone still your content, at least you get a link back.
What you think, zaki?
spam log aku? mana?
I use antileech

The problem is, some of them didn’t put the link back, so the track back functionality is not working here. I can’t trace them.
Yg ngko cakap kat atas tu. Trackback je kot yg masuk spam, klu comment biasa ok je
Thanks for the plugin
Now I’m going to hunt for splogs.
Hi Zaki,
Thanks for sharing the plugin.
Go go go!! Haney, you have a great post after you change niche. The Alexa rank keep better from day to day
No problem, enjoy the plugin.
I have been notice about that so, sorry cause I’m not telling you earlier.
It’s ok Bent. I have reported it to search engines and wordpress. So far, I have got reply from them
I find that a good majority of my articles end up getting sucked into splog format, typically because half of them are published in magazines that tend to get high readership offline and the companion site doesn’t have robust protection. As part of my campaign against splogs, I maintain a google alert that I update with a full sentence from the first paragraph of my articles. That usually notifies me right away.
Nowadays, there are so many technologies to help us, but at the same time, those irresponsible persons keep on increasing as well. They are exploiting technology for their own good only
