If you’re one of the Dotcom Youth participants, by now, I believe you should have received emails and sms from them notifying about their upcoming event. But Dotcom Youth as a dot com organizer has done 1 big mistake. They’re putting participants emails’ on the ‘to’ recipient field, thus inviting a lot of spamming from spammers who are also some of the participants.
It seems that they are not aware of the consequences.
What I suggest next time.
1. Use mailing list/auto responder system, which will only list one email address on the ‘to’ recipient field
2. Use distribution list
3. Put recipient emails on BCC field
Further action.
1. Organizer must remove participants who do spamming
2. Other participants to mark that email as spam, to give them a lesson
3. Don’t visit their website – this looks like a small matter to some of you, but this is important for them to discontinue their spamming.
By the time I’m writing this blog, Joel Neoh the Project Director has sent an apology email about this mistake. But the damage has been done, our email has been under the hands of ‘spammer’s, its already too late.
Btw, I just bought new web hosting for my another project. If you need web hosting, and are looking for a good web hosting company, there are a few good web hosting companies online that support Ecommerce websites and use a dedicated server.

Event
I’m very pleased when I see my stat today. Thank you everyone for ‘supplying’ me with traffic. Hopefully, this is a good start for blogjer in 2008. And even though it’s not much, far behind compared to most of you blogjer’s readers, I’m very grateful to have friends and readers like you all to ‘support’ this blog indirectly. I’m also grateful to be able to post quite regularly until now, its not easy though..
Actually, I would like to announce something today, something good, but I was stuck with a couple of high severity issues in my office.
And by the time I got home, I feel very tired, so I decided to write about it tomorrow. Blogging on a part time basis is not easy (zaki of zakiyamani must be agreeing with me), especially if you’re working on real time production issues such as plant, data center, database, apps and etc. (and other jobs as well)
But I’m trying my best to make myself available to write about anything everyday. Who knows, I might be one of pro bloggers in future

I have used Dell 1520 for about 1 week before, so I’m quite familiar with how 1520 looks like. When Dell came out with a new model of 1525, with a lot more enhancement internally and externally, it had easily caught my eye. The new 1525 features a slimmer, lighter, and better design and yet with powerful CPU and bigger hard drive to fulfill users with hunger for more space and power.
Ok, I’m not a notebook reviewer but I would like to bring up the different designs between those 2 models. See the photos that I ‘SnagIt’ed from Dell website. I’m thinking of getting one, but not now, perhaps in the next few months when the price has gone down a little bit. Enjoy. For more info, of course you need to visit Dell

It’s been an honor to be tagged by other bloggers. Don’t you think so? No matter how busy I am, I’ll ensure the tag doesn’t stop there.

What a wonderful weekend I have had this week. First, I went to Penang and really did enjoy the activities that my colleagues have planned. I enjoyed every single one of them, plus the variety of foods I’ve had all along.
This also marks my new hobby, taking pictures on whatever event that I joined, to be included in my blog. This is part of my add on blogging ideas that I’d posted before.
Lunch at Dorsett
We had our lunch at Dorsett Hotel. The buffet costs RM36 net if I’m not mistaken, but since we came in a group, we got 20% discount, wonderful. The buffet has around 60 type of dishes, including salad and vegetables. Overall, we’re satisfied with the food, and everyone went back with full stomach of food.

Putrajaya
My parents came to KL to visit us. So I brought them to Cyberjaya and Putrajaya where we have had a brief photo session and sembang2 near the Putrajaya lake, the Prime Minister office and Putrajaya Mosque. I have to say that I’m happy with their visit after persuading them to visit us ever since we moved here from Penang about 2 months ago.
