Blogjer has new author
I don’t know how to start writing today. I have a few articles currently in WIP, but my mood is temporarily not on blogging. Forgive me if this post is not interesting.
27-Jan-2008 is one of the dates that I’ll remember forever. This date is very meaningful to me and my wife, whereby this is the day where we become parents, parents to our first baby, a baby boy named Luqman Hakim, who was born with normal procedure, with weight of 3.2 kg and height of 49 cm. We’re very happy and so does our parents, since Luqman Hakim is their first ever grandchild too.
The time from the beginning of being admitted, to labor room, and until Luqman is born was very stressful but it ended with tears of happiness. We both cried upon seeing Luqman crying (or scream) loudly by the time he was successfully delivered. I got the chance to watch it with my own eyes from the first moment Luqman came out to this world, and I’m grateful to Allah, Alhamdulillah everything is over and went fine. My wife smiled, the pain and tiredness seemed to be gone upon seeing Luqman breathing and in healthy condition.
The 4 hour period in the labor room is also the moment that I’ll remember the most. This is the moment where my wife struggled to deliver our baby. I can see that it was very painful. Even epidural procedure gave little impact to minimize the pain. Witnessing this, I know that I should love and take care my wife more than ever. I admire her patience and strong will.
The excitement of having Luqman Hakim is felt by most of our close relatives. With technology, his photo has reached all over Malaysia via email and MMS. His ‘Mak Uda’ who’s studying abroad, already has his photo decorating her YM and MSN avatar. Not to forget MySpace and Friendster. What a technology, hehe. Looks like their parents are a little bit behind in getting his photo available on Blogjer.com. Yeah, we’re too excited playing with him, feeding and pampering him. And also getting his birth registered as well as a few other things that are needed to be completed.
Blogjer will grow to a higher level in future, so does Luqman Hakim, but of course with better care, love and Iman (faith).

Congrats Zaki! I am so proud of you… now a father already. I am not a father yet, but surely a daddy blogger needs to elevate his blogging commitment and this is not found in many. With the newly born baby, life is blessed even more. Many happy auspicious occasion ahead!
kudos for both of you, this baby boy been named exactly the same name with my nephew. :p
