The end of the waiting

google pagerank

The title said it all. The waiting is over. Some smiles while some others sad. Guess what? This is nothing else than PR update google made recently. By now, blog sphere must be full with PR update posts, but I don’t want to be left over as well since Blogjer.com finally get PR3. Yeah PR3. Not bad for me. Most of my new websites also climbed to PR3

I have read that some of major sites is experiencing drop of PR due to suspicious of selling links . Google is more particular about this recently but sometime the action taken is impacting those who’re not guilty as well.

While I’m happy with this round of update where I have seen increasing of pagerank at all my websites, at the same time I feel the hit when some of website no longer appear on the first page of SERP for the primary keyword targeted resulting almost 3/4 traffics loss. I believe Google has tune in their algorithm on the same time of PR update. I must figure this our before it is too late, and impacting my earning

Finally, I would like to wish everyone Happy Eid Mubaraq especially to those who send me e-cards, it was nice though. My apologizes if I can’t reply your e-card or comments on time. I have very busy schedule recently due to the reorganization and business trip.

Hope to see you again soon. Kampai!! (cheers in Japanese)

  1. Google keeps updating its search algorithm every few months to keep the SEO experts on their toe… It’s a dirty game…. but the innocent are affected… finally I would only wish that google would give the best results….

I’m one of them. It shouldn’t be a problem for SEO gurus, since they have enough tool and knowledge to get a better rank later on. I’m too hopeful of better results

Hm my blog only get PR1 … Huhuhu must work hard

  6. zaki says:

No worry Zool. Keep working harder.

I have to motivate myself and work harder as well after losing almost 3/4 of my visitors :(

  7. The algo still needs some work. I still see several spammers that didn’t move in the serps at all. Meanwhile I’ve seen some sites get tanked that I know don’t do anything shady at all. Hopefully they’ll figure it all out soon. That really sucks about your traffic loss. You might try getting more involved in social networks to see if you can pull traffic from there.

Congrats to you all, I was also surprised about the update. I have several websites and they all got unexpected PRs. The once I worked most on got a low one and one which I just put online with one page with only a few backlinks got a PR3 already. Guess, Google is not easy to understand.

Go figure.
