New section on right sidebar

If you noticed, I have created a new section on my right side bar. This is the tools and tips that I found from other blogs or from my own discovery. I have been using some of them and there are a lot more that I haven’t put it in yet. I’ll keep update it from time to time, so keep up reading and subscribe my RSS :)

Soon, I’ll try to come out with another section specifically on monetizing tips topic using Adsense, Kontera, Chitika and others using articles and posts that I collect from other blogs. Don’t worry I’m not stealing other person content; I’m not putting their content on this blog, but only links to that. At the moment those articles sit on my favorite list and I have to compile and choose the best among them.

I welcome all other suggestions, tips or tool that you feel interested and deserved to be shared among us. I found that by doing this way, I can keep track of what I have been reading, trying and using since the way I documenting and filing this info is not that great (I used to lost files due to this mess). If you think this tools are useful, you’re free to use it and let me know how it helps you. Let me know you thought

    MOnetizing

One of the words that ring my bell.

Hey Zaki, If you drop by my blog, please see if there is anything I can do to monetize and optimize it.

    If sick, must find doctor.
If car break down, must find mechanic
If want to moneytize my blog … :) … must find Zaki

    Moral of the story.
Always ask advice from the expert. :)

    Raymond,
You make me paiseh (hokkien dialect for feel shy, learned from my colleague :)). Actually there are a lot of monetizing guru out there. I only making very2 small income from internet.

Well, basically there is no formula that perfect or suit to all websites. I also did a lot of experiment to choose what kind of ads is having the best CTR, the location, blended with your content or not and bla bla

    1. Your header. There are 2 empty space on left and right of your header. You can put any ads there. If you’re using adsense, why not put any Google referral product.
    2. On each of your post, put any ads at the bottom of your post. (on single.php file if I’m not mistaken) You can use adsense plugin available out there. (I think I have written before about adsense plugin on one of my ‘what is interesting’ category)

p/s: I will write to you about the example website

Hmm… I’m so excited. So many mew things I have never heard before.

What is Google Referral Product and how’s the earning?
I’m actually following your advice not to put adsense too soon until the visitors reach a sertain amount.

I’m keen to know more about adsense plugin.

For time being, I’m collecting information to monetize my site. When my Alexa ranking increase nect or after 2 months, I’ll start to advertise. So, I’ll make use of this 2 months to do some research work.

I didn’t see any adsense here and yet you earn money from adsense. Which website do you earn the adsense money from?

Mind to share with me as a case study. Maybe, some of the ads there attract my attention and I can’t help but to click on them to find out more. :)

Thanks Zaki for all the advice. I’ll look into my header’s and single.php file.
