google adsense

You might have read e-book called TheDeathofAdsense by Scott Boulch before and subsequently LifeAfterAdsense later on. I’m one of them as well but how many of you(including me) who were reading the book is practicing what was highlighted by Scott and become successful? The report is still available here if you’re interested. Frankly speaking, I have read the e-book, practice it a little bit but with no success. I think, I should work harder to achieve greater results as additional income for me in future

To avoid confusion here, the report does not tell you that Adsense is totally dead, but the changes made by Google on August 2006 about some changes made by Google has dramatically cut the revenue for almost Adsense publisher. I haven’t started publishing Adsense on that time, so I can’t really see, how this changes really affecting their revenue.

Google has a great history and Google Adsense which started back to 2003 is part of it. I relied heavily to Google Adsense as a part time income for me, so have you ever think what will happen if Adsense really dead? Sound creepy right. Lets look what are the possible outcome.

1. No Google Adwork – This where Google Adsense ads came from. Advertisers will create the advertisement here, how much their ads worth and what keyword they are targeting at. However not all ads from Google Adwork published using Adsense program, it does appear on search engine result, and other Google services

2. No Google arbritage – Google Arbritage is where advertiser create low price ads with which will bring visitors to their highly monetized pages which in return, earn you more than what they have spent.

3. No Google Adsense ebook, guidance, tips (and no Joel Comm??) – Google Adsense is very profitable, not only the program itself, but also how the successful adsense advertiser manipulate their success in Adsense. Most of them are racing to create e-book and tips telling their tips and success and selling it on internet. One of the most popular Adsense e-book seller is Joel Comm, who earn thousands from Adsense and maybe more from his Adsense e-book.

4. Internet industry booming is over. After dot com era end around 1999, Google Adsense has fuel up the emergence of thousands website since than. The end of Adsense could mean the end of this websites as well, which resulting the end of dot com era once again

5. No made-for-adsense-website or Adsense-ready-template. As the name said, this is where the website is made solely for Adsense. Normally this type of website is ready-made, which means it has been optimized for Adsense which included the ads location, ads type and etc by the seller and the buyer has only to key in their publisher id

6. When Adsense dead, that means, it is no longer profitable to Google, thus closed by them. This also means Google was in trouble as well since Adsense and Adworks is one of the largest profit contributor to them other than their main product, search engine itself.

7. Existence of larger and profitable ads program. This is the consequence of above possible. But at the moment this seems not exist. The nearest competitor, YPN and MSN ContentAds has a long way to catch up with Google’s program

8. I lost extra income – As at now, Google Adsense representing almost 90% or my internet income. I have tried several type of advertisement with no success like Adsense.

Well, this is only some of things that appear on my head recently. Personally I hope this program will last forever with continuous enhancement from Google that will make this program better.

Yes, nothing last forever. But usually better things are likely to take over, right?

Very nice blog .I didn’t see that in the new terms of service. Perhaps I need to read them again. Do we really have to post something to that effect on every website we have? Will they enforce this?
