Articles basically contain 3 main parts consist of the title, main body and the resource box. This is how articles looks like for those who never read articles or visit articles directory before.

Title

In the world of articles marketing, this structure might be a little bit different from informative articles which were written for an announcement of notification purpose only, whereas article marketing is purposely for drive traffic, attract visitors or to get link back to their website. In plain English the main purpose of article is for promotion which in turn will bring more traffic.

I’ll explain briefly what is each part above means and additional information required before submitting your article to article submitter (I’ll explain in detail later) or article directory

Article Title
Keeps it simple but eye catching as long as your title doesn’t desynchronize with the content (article body)

Brief Description/Summary
This is you summary of your article and normally this would become your RSS feed content. If you’re planning to attract visitor from RSS feed readers, write your summary containing main point from the article body

Article Body
As the name said, this is where your main points are. To have your article looks better and neatly organized, it is highly recommended, to format your article in paragraph, use numbering or bullet where necessary and the most important thing, make it clear and free from spelling and grammar mistakes (proofread). The most optimum length or your article should be around 400 – 600 words. However the content of your article will determine how attractive your article is

Resource box/about the Author
Other than article body, in my opinion, this is the second most important part of your article. This is where you’re promoting your self, what you’re offering and the link to your website.

Category
Normally, you should be able to choose the category from the drop down list. Choosing right category is crucial for your article, since the process of distributing your article is done automatically or by email, and the publisher won’t be able to review or read all articles one by one

Keyword
Put your keyword or tag related to your article

Article Submitter
I have talked about this on my 5th post about source of articles. As what I have mention ed before, other than distributing articles among the publisher, they are also accepting articles from author which will be distributed to thousand of registered publisher later after reviewed and approved by them. The service fee is vary ranging from free (with limited features) to few hundred dollar based on yearly or monthly basis. Having them as your article submitter is a great advantage, as they will allow you to submit your article to thousand of article directory with few clicks.
